My local paper covered “almost two dozen Occupy protesters” in Tampa some time back... but Chick fil A? Nothing. Maybe tomorrow...

It was both appreciation and a protest. I was there today to protest the fact that the media and some in government are trying to bully me into remaining silent. I will not be coerced into giving up my freedom of thought and speech by those saying my Christian based beliefs are hate speech. If we don’t take these stands now, we won’t be able to at all later. So yes, today I had a delicious protest and I refuse to be silent.
To: EmilyGeiger
Correct, it was a protest. One the MSM didn’t agree with with, so they refused to cover it. However, if three whiny liberals show up at one CBS will be covering “nearly a dozen” protesters.

I am sure it will all be different when the gay-brigade gets their moment in the sun in the next few days.

Everyone needs to let CBS know how we feel about this

At this stage of the game, I’m annoyed anyone is annoyed at the press. We know what they are about; they’ve done all but announced it. Anyone expecting nonpartisan or fair treatment is on crack.

Correct, it was a protest. One the MSM didnt agree with with, so they refused to cover it. As far as the MSM is concerned, if it's against some Leftist cause, then it's not a legitimate protest and therefore not worthy of coverage.

Anyone expecting nonpartisan or fair treatment is on crack. It's been that way for years. If anyone ain't figured out that we've got to do or own reporting, they're way behind.

CBS Atlanta? Not surprised.
Chick-Fil-A is in the same league as Coca-Cola as an Atlanta icon. Both companies walk-on-water as far as the locals are concerned.
UPS, Home Depot, CNN, Cox Broadcasting, & Delta are all Atlanta corporate icons also, but none of them are in the same league goodwill wise as Chick-Fil-A or Coca-Cola—not even close.
There is simply no way a local Atlanta TV station could do a negative story on Chick-Fil-A and not have a firestorm rain down on them. It looks like CBS Atlanta has decided to try and ignore it and hope it goes away soon.
Of course, they could do a positive story about all the people showing up. But, they fact that they don’t want to do that tells you about the station’s bias.
