IMHO, since this is a very important day of activism to show support for Chick-Fil-A and traditional marriage, I thought this thread could be used for FReeper reports and pics from their visits to Chick-Fil-A's around the country since there probably won't be much "positive" coverage from the LSM.
FReepers could post their experiences and pics and maybe even "counter protest" pics. Folks should maybe remember to bring a camera (cell phone) to take pics with just in case something confrontational happens.
Go FR and Chick-Fil-A!!
Those pics are AMAZING!!!!!! Wow!! Thanks for taking the time to take them and post them here!!
That would be nice if he does. Cavuto usually grabs more stories like that (Lou Dobbs does also).
It makes me feel good to see the national response happening as huge as it has so far!!
It hasnt stopped either. Has been like that all day.
Great report!! Thanks so much for posting!! (You are right!!They are “lost” and the “ending” isn’t gonna be pretty for some of them unless a whole lot of prayers are answered.)
Nice to hear!! Thank you for posting it!!
Thanks for posting!! (I had the same “crowd” experience.)
(Yes it’s quite a difference from the lefty bunch “get-togethers”!!)
Bump for later.
Thanks for posting!! I hope you are able to get some peach shakes and cookies later!!(..my peach shake is in the freezer for my dessert tonight!!)
Someone eat an extra sandwich for me, please. Maybe some waffle fries too.
I'm planning on stopping at the CFA in Paramus this evening. I'm not in Paramus often, but I have a meeting (which was scheduled back in June) there after work. After the meeting I'll visit CFA. I hope they still have some food by then! If they do, I am planning to eat there and then get some food to go. If it doesn't work out, I'll try the one at the Menlo Park Mall on Friday.
That one pic with the LONG line of cars is incredible!! If that level is mantained for an extented length of time in other areas also ( Isaw it here in Spring TX) I would take that as an indication that an undeniable “national message” is being sent!!
Our Chick Fil A is across the parking lot from Walmart. We arrived during the lunch rush, so it was even busier than when went for breakfast this morning. We decided to go into Walmart to do a little shopping first. There were a couple rough looking women in flannel shirts (it’s 95 degrees out), and a couple guys with multicolored hair, skin tight women’s stretch pants and blouses. We don’t see much of that around these parts, even in Walmart. They were all looking very sad, like maybe no one noticed their protest. they looked like homosexuals, but they sure didn’t look gay.
Glad to hear it was busy at Chick-Fil-A for breakfast AND lunch!! Thanks for posting!!
I have seen a “few” in our Wal-Mart here in past visits. Two “girls” just HAD to french kiss at the 20 items or less checkout on a busy Saturday at around noon with little kids watching and everyone from 3 checkout lanes on either side having to watch.
..and the libs wonder why Chick-Fil-A’s are so NATIONALLY busy today......
Hubby’s disabled, so we chose the drive thru. We really would have enjoyed eating with the people we saw inside though. They looked like such a great bunch of people, with their kids and grand kids. and everybody looked so happy and nice. We’re hoping to go back for dinner, but we’re both pretty exhausted after a long day at the doctor’s office, shopping, and sitting in line. I picked up a bag of those wonderful chocolate chunk cookies. We might have them for dinner. LOL
And oh, I forgot to mention. Ick!
Said this on another thread/
CFA should give their workers a paid day off on Fridaya nd leave the drive through open.
One it will stop this pathetic kiss butt fest and two it will show appreciation to their workers.\\
The workers were so polite, rushed like mad , worked their asses off and yet still kept a smile, did not get orders wrong, still wished eevryone a blessed day etc.
Truly professionals
Kathleen wore her cow outfit. All the girl employees were giggling at her and Tom. (That's part of my head at the bottom right.)
Traffic was heavy around the CFA in Monroe, NC, at 3:45, and we parked illegally on the grass across the street, but the line inside was only about 15 minutes. Good milkshake! We brought the chicken and fries home. There were seats inside, but there were 8 of us.
The drive-through line wrapped around the building twice and went out into the street. I went inside, where every cash register lane was open and lines still went out the door. People talking, smiling, being generally gracious. EVERY single employee was friendly and still had a smiling face.
Gosh, do ya think a "man and woman" marriage is still popular around here? You betcha!
