there is a darn good reason why the RNC kept doing all it could to delay the Texas presidential primary until after the race was effectively over. They KNEW we here in Texas are real conservatives and wont vote for moderates when given an acceptable alternative.

Another reason Cruz is ahead. . .probably due to backlash in response to the over-the-top very nasty and vile negative character assassination attacks by Dewhurst.
Just plain awful. . .to use a crying mother who’s son committed suicide. . .and to blame Cruz for that. . .

Dewhurst's relentless attacks on Cruz indicate that he has nothing about himself to promote. I can understand an attack ad on Cruz being part of a campaign, but not the entirety of the campaign itself.
I had originally decided that whomever won would be fine, but I'm thinking Dewhurst doesn't have anything of substance to offer.
