Senator Scott Brown, who has earned kind words from Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino despite their differing political parties, treaded carefully Friday when asked during a Boston.com chat about the mayors spat with Chick-fil-A over its opposition to gay marriage.
I disagree with what the CEO from Chick-fil-A said. I was glad he spoke further and said that his company does not discriminate, Brown wrote from his South Boston campaign headquarters.
Noting that Massachusetts has strong antidiscrimination laws that could prevent problems should the company decide to set up shop in Boston, Brown added, If they move forward with the location proposal, I trust the mayor and other officials will ensure that those laws are honored.

i wonder if these tards understand that their attacks on Catholics and Christians in general are all discriminatory
oh, what am i thinking... of course they do. they just don’t care
check
personally, i prefer to eat food where the owners don’t play with their own feces ... or the feces of their ‘partners’
Pandering progressives are so irritating... even if they are equipped with an “R” instead of “D”.
LLS
by all means, senator, make sure that all the disgusting little queers are protected as people like you want America to drown in a sewer of perversion.
I wonder what the CEO said that Brown disagrees with, specifically.
bROWN IS A rrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnnnOOOOOOOO!!!!
Since Scott Brown is the best we can expect from MA. I propose that we expel MA from the Union!
Nothing like watching a Republican office holder wet himself because he might offend the homosexual community and their political and MSM handmaidens.
How about, “I don’t see anything wrong with a citizen holding opinions of their own and voicing them in public, as long as those opinions don’t reveal any plan to harm others. And the CEO of Chick-Fil-A did not express any plans to do that. People need to get a grip. Which is worse, not planning to harm others, or the Left taking unmistakable actions to harm businesses and there-by their employees and their local communities? We need jobs people. If Chick-Fil-A wants to expand and employ people, by God they can count on my support.”
Scott Brown needs to walk a thin line in communist Mass. So I’ll give him a pass. You won’t get anyone more conservative than him in that state.
The only problem I see with the concept is that the city of Chicago would sit right in the middle, but that could be addresed by creating an island city much like the former West Berlin in political status even though it would continue to be run on an East Berlin ideology.
So, if you believe in the scriptures, then you’re discriminatory.
That he is, but he's about as close to Conservative as we're going to get out of Massachusetts.
Brown is a moron. He’s better than Martha Coakley and the Squaw. Not by much though.
Bull$hit, Scott Brown is 1000 time better than either of those *$@#7s!
I saw on another thread, somebody was showing the irony, that the liberals are all in favor of Muslim ventures, such as the Ground Zero Mosque, when Muslims ideology condemns homosexuality.
So, a business which is run by a devout Christian family, a family which doesn’t believe in homosexual marriage, is condemned, and is to be run out of town. But a Muslim mosque, or other Muslim businesses, run by those who would execute homosexuals, are welcome in New York City. Go figure.
I think all the owner of Chick Fil A said is that he supports the traditional family and marriage and he didn’t say a word about gays. Is that not true?
If it is true then anyone who supports traditional marriage is a gay hater? You’re either with us or against us?
I tolerate gays as long as they aren’t the Folsom Street Fair types - isn’t that enough? Can’t they tolerate those who don’t particularly like their lifestyles?
Yeah , that’s a real “Thomas More” display of courage Scotty displayed there.
The answer to your last question is a resounding, “NO”: It has reached the point where if you do not embrace and celebrate TOTAL equality in marriage and all things for gays, you are an outdated bigot. Absurd, but that is where they stand now politically.
