Laura Ingraham interviewed gun rights advocate John Lott. He recounted a conversation with then-Senator Obama who told Lott: I dont believe people should be able to own guns.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
It’s probably true, but it is still hearsay.
It’s vital that we own guns, especially if Obama suspends the election and declares himself El Presidente for life.
It’s probably just a coincidence but Idi Amin Dada had that same attitude.
It is only natural for a Hitler/Stalin/Mussoline-like despot to abhor the idea of his subjects actally owning [gasp] weapons that could potentially dethrone him.
This man is a Muslim, an America-hater, a Freedom-hater, and a fascist whose only desire is to put America in its rightful third-world place. The fact that he has so many lazy, slothful and deviant ideologues behind him attests to the horrible path this country has taken - all in the name of ‘diversity’, ‘inclusion’ and ‘fair’.
Gee, I don’t think presidents should be able to violate the Constitution.
So much for the Second Amendment. I’ll bet he has a similar thought on the First also.
Oh what am I saying? This guy is a walking violation of the Constitution.
There have been other world leaders in the past that have toted the very same attitude and accomplished this directive under their reign.
BTW where was John Lott and the anti-Obama crowd 4 years ago? That quote was as relevant then as today.
Hey Hussein: I Don't Believe Foreign Usurpers Should Try To Deny Me MY Constitutional Rights!
We have 100 days and counting until we finally get rid of the Kenyan and his tribe of socialists. He has spit on the Constitution far to many times. The clock is ticking!
> Its probably just a coincidence but Idi Amin Dada had that same attitude.
Idi Amin Dada:
“His Excellency President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Sea, and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular.”
...and his trusty spouse, “Suicide Sarah” the stock car driver. LOL!
I think his “bitter gun clinger” quote said all I needed to hear about his views. I had no doubt in 2008 what his view on guns was.
He was a board member of the Joyce Foundation. They gave millions to gun grabbing organizations.
That was about the extent of the conversation.
Obama walked up to Lott, did a minimal intro, dropped the I dont believe people should be able to own guns, then spun around, showed Lott his ass and walked off- a typical Obama “dialog”. This one was even shorter than his meet-up with Jan Brewer at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
I first heard the anecdote before the 2008 election on a local college professor’s radio show that originated in Chicago; Lott was on, they invited people from the Obama campaign to attend, the HQ was about five minutes away. Instead of sending over a representative, the Obama organization phone-bombed the radio show with the callers all using the same scripted remarks. The host said he had never experienced such a thing in the decades he’d been hosting the program.
