Mitt Romney would restore 'Anglo-Saxon' relations between Britain and America
The Telegraph ^ | 7/24/2012 | Jon Swaine, Washington

Mitt Romney would restore "Anglo-Saxon" understanding to the special relationship between the US and Britain, and return Sir Winston Churchill's bust to the White House.

As the Republican presidential challenger accused Barack Obama of appeasing America’s enemies in his first foreign policy speech of the election campaign, advisers told The Daily Telegraph that he would abandon Mr Obama’s “Left-wing” coolness towards London.

In remarks that may prompt accusations of racial insensitivity, one suggested Mr Romney was better placed to understand the ties between the countries than Mr Obama, whose father was from Africa. “We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he feels that the special relationship is special,” the adviser said of Mr Romney, adding: “The White House didn’t fully appreciate the shared history we have.”

Mr Romney today embarks on an overseas tour of Britain, Israel and Poland designed to quash claims by Mr Obama’s team that he is a “novice” in foreign affairs. It comes four years after Mr Obama’s own landmark foreign tour, which attracted thousands of supporters.

He lands in London today in advance of meetings with David Cameron and other senior ministers tomorrow. He will also meet Ed Miliband and Tony Blair before attending two fund-raisers and the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

He used a speech last night in Nevada to accuse the USPresident of drastically weakening America’s stance towards rivals such as Russia, China and Iran while imposing “devastating” spending cuts on US forces.

If you do not want America to be the strongest nation on earth, I am not your president,” he told the Veterans of Foreign Wars

I’m sorry to say, that I would not.

I see present British foreign policy - even under the present British government as a captive of and captivated with Middle East interests and I am not talking about Israel.

I am not suggesting U.S.-Anglo relations should be hostile, but I would say that I believe many of our interests are no-longer in sync or shared.

Keep NATO, but don’t make U.S. policy dependent on or restricted by any NATO consensus on anything outside of the European theater of operations. Why? We are not likely to ever again have a consensus in Nato outside of events in a European theater of operations. Don’t ask for what you won’t get and you won’t be disappointed; particularly if your plans admit the likely failure from asking.

The current case of the MB agent planted next to Hillary and the even deeper sources for that plant in Britain, and throughout society in Britain, clearly attest to how much further along the MB subversion in Britain is. No point in denying it, and no point arguing it publicly with Britain - their political class has their heads in the sand.

Just get on with things and don’t expect the “special relationship” to ever be as special as it once was.

Who the Hell writes his speeches? He said what needed to be said, and advocates the right course of action, but [string of blue-air word usements] “Anglo-Saxon”?!? That’ll be good for a four point slide in the polls. *#!

Thanks bruinbirdman.

World War I and World War II demonstrated that when the Anglo-Saxon nations get together, they can whip the world. I think that is the real reason the one-worlders legalized abortion, implemented multiculturalism, and are overwhelming and weakening our nations through massive and rapid legal and illegal immigration. The American people have proven they can overcome catastrophes; however, they can not overcome demographics.

Reminds me of the movie Patton, when he got in trouble for saying, “Since it is evident destiny that the British and Americans rule the world, the better we know each other the better job we will do.”

Hope he expands the tent to embrace renewed kinship with Celtic descendants on both sides of the water.

Hopefully, somebody in the Romney campaign is reading here...

First item, symbolic as it is, to accomplish vis-a-vis British relations: Humbly request back the Churchill bust that the usurper tossed over with total dis-ingenuity...

Nutty Wee Willie Mitty strikes out again...

Obama’s “Anglo-Saxon heritage” goes back about a hundred years further than Wee Willies does...

Willies ancestors didnt get here from England till 1840...

and they didnt come here to assimmilate with “American exceptionalism” either...

For 3 generations they also lived in Mexico to avoid AMERICAN laws......

Say what was that about “Anglo-Saxon heritage” ???

Does Willie ever kick start his brain before putting his ijit mouth in gear ???

Mitt Romney would restore “Anglo-Saxon” understanding to the special relationship between the US and Britain
as opposed to the current “MAU MAU” relationship with the Kenyan poser.

I remember seeing an old cartoon from around 1917. It shows Uncle Sam shaking hands with John Bull. The caption reads...”We Anglo-Saxon countries have to stick together!”

"We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he feels that the special relationship is special,” the adviser said of Mr Romney, "

The Brit is quoting the advisor not Romney.
