UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. Jay Paterno, then the Penn State quarterbacks coach, worked for Sen. Barack Obamas campaign before the Democratic primary in Pennsylvania in 2008. Paterno helped organize a campus rally and introduced Obama to a big crowd on the sloping lawn in front of Old Main, the university administration building. Obama lost the primary to Sen. Hilary Clinton but won Centre County.
Nearly a year ago, on Feb. 2, 2011, President Obama came to Penn State and met Jays parents, Nittany Lion head coach Joe Paterno and his wife Sue.
On Monday, the day after Joe Paterno succumbed to cancer, President Obama called Jay and Sue Paterno to offer his condolences.
Jay, I wanted to call, Obama said, according to notes that Jay took. Both Michelle and I wanted to offer our condolences to you and your family.

next time "jay" think about character and morality and ethics...
Yup Screw these jerks.
Yep, he’s a big fan, huge fan, been so for years and years, knows everything there is to know about the Nittaly Lions:

Me thinks you had something to do with that!
;-)
Did Obama know Joe Paterno’s involvement during the whole Sandusky rape scenarios at the time of his death? What do all the freakazoid Penn Staters that started rioting and protested in favor of Paterno think of their beloved JoePA now he was just as complicit as Sandusky? Their whole world probably has no meaning as of now, correct?
I think that happened because he took mostly business courses and he hated group projects.
If Obama had a relative who molested children, would he look like Sandusky?
It figures that Obama would eventually lend his auspices to child molestation. That fits perfectly with his goals for the destruction of America.
And in Western Pennsylvania, there was Dan Rooney, creator opf the racist Rooney Rule, chairman of the Pittsburgh Steelers doing Obama's bidding in the 2008 elections.
To make matters worse, Rooney's first words during the 2009 Lombardi Trophy presentation was a big sloppy "thank you" to Obama. Disgusting.
The “o” couldn’t pick a winner if the game was fixed! Let’s hope that streak continues until after November.
It happened, and was written about, months ago.
disgusting people.
I agree!
As someone that has been involved with charities that deal with domestic viloence and CPS kids, I can tell you the wives KNOW about these nasty problems. That Mrs Sandusky or Patterno act like they never had a clue is a stretch. When they take away Joe’s pension, provided by the state, Mrs Paterno willhave some new work - screaming to wives, turn you husband in to the police, if you suspect they have harmed children...make no mistake he harmed those kids.
Papa Paterno, relayed his true political views to his son.

Maybe; maybe not. I’m a Reagan Republican and all three of my boys are too. But, then, in all fairness, look at Ronnie Reagan Jr. and his ultra-Lib Sister, Patti Davis (She took her mom’s maiden name instead of the last name “Reagan”.) What a liberal witch; or a word that rhymes with “witch”. They did not take the baton on Ronald Reagan’s Conservatism.
Well, there goes whatever little sympathy I had left for the family.

No s**t Bro. That’s exactly what I was thinking. I don’t feel nearly as badly for them now.
This article and any like it are nothing but pure political propaganda.
Obambi and his minions in the press know that a vast majority of PSU fans still worship JoPa and think PSU is getting a bum rap here.
By floating these articles they are trying to get these fans to think that Abama is with them even though he is not publicly saying anything.
It is all about trying to get these fans to vote for Obama in November.
Or his father's affection was genuine and it just never reached his son.
