Did Investigator Mike Zullo Rely On 1969 Code #9 for Obama's COLB Or Code #9 from 1961?

Hello. My name is Fred Garvin-MP. I recently watched the Maricopa County Sheriff Department's press conference. It was intriguing to say the least. What caught my attention were the coding numbers on the document put on the White House server for all Americans to see. The code #9 was the essential 'nail in the coffin' that confirmed the PDF version of the birth certificate was a 'definite' forgery.

Now two pro Obama websites claim that lead Investigator Mike Zullo used the meaning of code #9 from a 1969 Vital Statistics Instruction Manual instead of a manual from 1961. Is this true? One meaning for code #9 is different that the other code #9 and that is giving Obama supporting websites ammunition to claim Sheriff Arpaio's Cold Case Posse got it wrong. To clear this up we need answers. I am sure most of you agree.

Yea I am puzzled on that one to. Here is a Honolulu birth certificate from August 1961 with a code #3 by that particular box. Notice code 3 is also by Race of Father and Race of Mother’s box.

Why is a FOIA necessary to gain this information when it's available from 1968 onward.

On another subject it seems the coding number (6) in front of place of birth (line 6a from BC) and line from the BC ‘6e’ that says Kapiolani-Hospital number (5) ?

from the scrib document in this thread the best I can figure is:

Birth in Hospital would be (2)
Birth attended by physician (4)
Birth attended by midwife (5)
Other = (6) like Barky’s says.

But I really don’t know what these feilds mean or how to read them. I’ll take Zullo’s source as the authority since she would know, she coded the documents. Has there been a settled agreement on these other codings? Sorry for the oversized picture.

You have to have the code key, for lack of a better word, to know what the number represents.
As I understand it the same number can mean different things according to the field it's in.
Everything could have a 3 if the situation was right...or a 1, or a 2...if the situation was right.

Years ago in Latin class we were taught the N word meant impure black and was used by the field slaves against the house slaves who were often off-springs of the “master”.

It doesn’t really matter. Verna K.L. Lee and whoever crosschecked her pencil codes would have used No. 2 to classify African as Negro. The Natality Report from 1961 explains that anything that appeared even to only be partially Negro would have been coded Negro by default.

Yeah, I'm no an expert either. It seems "an educated guess" is the best most of us are going to be able to accomplish.

Your theory make much more sense. OTOH the latin word for black is still nigrum/niger and derivatives are used in scientic identification. Nigeria is another example. Etymologically, negro, noir, nègre, ... ultimately derive from nigrum, the stem of the Latin niger (black) (pronounced [ˈniɡer]

They do have more than passing resemblance, especially as kids, but not sure what you mean about the birth certificates looking "so different."
