Inslee and McKenna sound like they might be big Jerry Sandusky fans.

Gay Rights
McKenna opposes the legalization of same-sex marriage and believes that the legality of gay marriage should be decided by a popular vote. He supports civil unions.

Abortion
McKenna is pro-choice, and wants to ensure that all pharmacies sell the morning-after pill.[23] As a general provision, McKenna would support legislation that would require parental notification before a minor obtains an abortion. “I’m like a lot of parents,” McKenna said. “When your daughter turns 13 and the mom is kicked out of the examining room for anything related to reproductive health, it’s troubling for a lot of parents.”[24]

Democrat Jay Inslee and Republican Rob McKenna both [praised] the organization for the announcement that their secret committee unanimously selected Jerry Sandusky to their advisory panel on the new selection of LGBT Scoutmeisters to completely take over the re-education and re-orientation of the Boy Scouts.

Now, all the politically correct people are happy, Yes?

Wonderful, even the Republican candidate is now siding with the homosexual take on Boy Scouts. Boy Scouts, Little League, Pop Warner, etc. have always been targets for those pushing the homosexual agenda because they believe that if they can get to those organizations, they’ll be viewed as mainstream. Their mistake is thinking that regular people will ever identify with them or their lifestyle.

I had already decided to not vote in the presidential race and now am losing Washington regional candidates one by one. Well, at least we have the anti-gay marriage initiative so I’ll still vote for that.

Our state and our country have moved ahead rapidly with eliminating discrimination. We’ve done it in the military, we’ve done it in education, and we ought to be able to do that in the Scouts, as well. So I’m hopeful this will be revisited as soon as possible.

In other words, it isn't enough to tolerate the gay "lifestyle"; we all have to live it. It has to be part of everything we do, everywhere we go. We can't have any part of our lives where we choose our beliefs.

Well, I for one don't accept this. I'll never love Gay Big Brother. So just get over it.

All of my Boeing family want out of Queer-attle. Where I grew up is now a gang infested neighborhood thanks to de-segregation and the Democrat welfare state. Even the Island counties are turning to sh!t. I told people years ago when they start putting in low income housing projects and section 8 houses....RUN! Your neighbors who voted in all these wonderful Democrats who live in gated segregated communities have sold you down the toilet.

As a practical matter, there is little to distinguish McKenna from Gregoire. Ignore what McKenna says and watch what he does.

Being a Washingtonian, I was disappointed to learn this about McKenna, but I figure he’s in the same boat as Romney was in Mass. You’re a Republican running for guv in a heavily liberal state and if you expect any chance of winning, you have to say things that you may not really believe. That’s just the way it is.

I’m curious, do the Girl Scouts allow men to be leaders and supervise overnight campouts?

So, the Republican candidate agrees with the Democrat candidate that it’s a good idea for homosexuals to take little boys off into the woods... Wow.
