'I'm not protecting anyone that made my life a living hell': Teen faces jail time after lashing out on Twitter and naming the boys who sexually assaulted her.
17-year-old sexual assault victim is facing a jail sentence for tweeting the names of her attackers in anger at their light punishment.
Savannah Dietrich named and shamed the boys on the social messaging site, writing: 'There you go, lock me up. I'm not protecting anyone that made my life a living Hell.'
The Louisville, Kentucky teen told The Courier-Journal she was frustrated by what she feels is a lenient deal for her attackers.

I grew up in what I now know to be a very sheltered environment. Sheltered community, and a very sheltered family within that community. I didn't drink under age.
There were kids around who did underage. The underage girls who drank, and more, had 'a reputation', and I kept my distance.
Unfortunately for this girl, she made a very poor choice near a few of society’s sick bottom feeders.
It isn't her 'poor choice' to be near the bottom feeders that is the issue. Trapped in LA addressed the issue of 'poor choices' upthread. He was dead on.
I can tell you with great assurance that had I been caught drinking underage by my parents, the names of anyone else with me, or near me at the time, would be of very little concern to my parents, or to me. My fathers entire focus would have been on me and the choices I had made.
I learned early on that and there was double hell to pay if I tried to pawn off anything to someone else. And if I tried to do what this girl has done, It's so far beyond the realm of possibilities that I or any of my friends would have done anything like that when I was that age what the consequences would have been would be inconceivable.
I must concede this though; You and the Liberals have won this 'argument'; this is how an increasing number of young women behave today, the very segment of society that history has shown us is responsible for civilizing young men.
It's disappointing, and more than a little alarming, to me that Freepers would defend the actions of such feral females.

I've always thought of this female as feral, based on her behavior. As I thought about all this during the day today, I realized that what we are really having here on FR is a battle between the forces of good and evil, and so I decided it was time to call a feral a feral.
The acceptance, and even worse, the defense, of this type of behavior by Freepers should alarm anyone with morals.

No analogy should be required, but let's give it a shot. A parent teaches their child to not run into the street while playing. YET, one day the child does run into the street and a passing car swerves into the child for fun and cripples them.
Your reaction? Condemn the child and excuse the actions of the driver, as being totally expected and appropriate, given the child's bad behavior.

As others have pointed out, from the reaction of many Freepers, and from my own understanding of society, I doubt very much that this was a one time incident for this girl.
All one has to do is watch Judge Judy a few times. This is SOP for many girls. On her show they proudly use it as a defense. And I have no doubt that her show is but the tip of an iceberg.
I have learned to expect it from a society without morals.

The judge has no authority to order to do anything; she wasn’t enjoined to the case, so his order doesn’t apply to her.

Please do share your wisdom on this. How many demerits does a girl get before she deserves to be gang raped? It is very telling that you did not answer the analogy regarding the child in the street. You're very preachy concerning morals, and have mentioned the Bible. Tell me, how many times was it that Christ said to forgive? Do you recall the prodigal son? Where does God prescribe gang rape to get a girl in line? What do you suppose the woman's sin was, when Christ stopped the stoning?

In no sense is it ever moral to think that a girl or woman deserves to be raped for the crime of being impure. Whether or not I think its realistic for a daughter of mine to be in that position doesn't matter at all. Its called empathy.

Often, if a girl is believed to have acted or dressed immorally she is gang raped by male relatives and killed either by stoning or with a knife.
There seems to be some here who would fit in to that society quite well.

Somehow, I suspect if the rapists were black or illegal aliens, no one would be talking about the girl’s culpability here. Race generally trumps misogyny here.
