SAN DIEGO — A 24-year-old man suspected of firing into a crowded Colorado movie theater late Thursday, killing at least 12 and wounding 59 others, graduated from Westview High School in San Diego, near the Rancho Peñasquitos home where his parents still live.
Suspected shooter James Holmes graduated from the high school’s inaugural class in Torrey Highlands in 2006, then earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the University of California, Riverside, school officials said.
Holmes enrolled at the University of Colorado Medical School as a neuroscience graduate student in June 2011 but voluntarily left the program last month and was in the process of withdrawing from the school, said Dan Meyers, a spokesman for the university. Meyers said he did not know what prompted Holmes to withdraw from the university.

One can only hope that an out-of-control garbage truck happens to go right through the “media” area in front of the house.

Me too. A more fun alternative would be to walk out to my van and ask them to move so that I can leave. When they pepper with questions, repeat the exact same words until they actually move. If they refuse after three requests, pull out the cell phone and call 911 for loiterers refusing to clear my driveway.
Suspect In Colo. Theater Massacre Graduated From UC Riverside In 2010
(LOS ANGELES) — CBS2 has confirmed that the suspect in Friday morning’s
shooting massacre at an Aurora, Colo., movie theater graduated from UC Riverside.
According to the university’s online alumni directory, James Holmes graduated 2010 with
a degree in neuroscience.
“The University of Colorado Denver|Aschutz Medical Campus can confirm that Mr. James Holmes
was in the process of withdrawing from the University of Colorado Denver’s graduate
program in neurosciences,” the university said in a statement.

They should go outside and tell the reporters “Our son was a huge supporter of Obama and was excited about the upcoming election so he could vote for him and that Obama has made him the person he is today.” The news would back off in seconds.
