The young man who is in custody after allegedly gunning down 12 people in a mass shooting spree overnight in Aurora, Colorado has been identified as local resident James Holmes, according to federal authorities.

I appreciate the fact that you are trying to become better-informed about the occurrences last night in Aurora, but you have been somewhat mislead, in that I am not the man who did it. I am not a 24-year-old gun-slinging killer from Aurora, I am a 22-year-old book-slinging mass eate...r from Littleton. Somewhat distinct, I would assume. But I would appreciate if you would read this particular post an not assume that it would be interesting to be friends with someone on Facebook who is very probably going to be in jail and not be able to confirm your friend requests anyway, or even be friends with his girlfriend, who had the rather interesting experience of having to tell someone she had a job interview with that she is not, in fact dating a serial killer. James Holmes happens to be a pretty common name, surprisingly, so try not to jump the gun.

you may be proven correct, but my post is making a point about apparent connections (to tea party, ows, whatever). james (willie) holmes was a blues songwriter whose track is used in this video.
hoping abc’s suggestion that the james holmes shooter is a member of the tea party is similarly flawed.
I thought the same thing this morning. It’s always strange these things happen when gun control is an upcoming discussion/issue.
I’m not going to go all tin-foil hat here, but I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if this perp either dies in prison or succumbs to a quick death by poisoning.

The kenyan, just like his muslim brothers, is parading the corpses for political gain. He isn’t notified and does not make statements about the multiple killings that go on every day in Chicago and other democrat controlled cities but then the perpetrators there are Holder’s people who look like the sons obama never had.

Rinse, repeat. I hate to admit it, but when I heard about the shooting, my first thought was..."They're going to blame Rush". He's been on this Bane rant for the past few days. They're going to say that the shooter was a Rush listener. Rush will have to apologize and send a case of his famous tea.

Brian Ross at ABC News already did. He notes a “Jim Holmes” is also a member of the Tea Party. Forget about the fact that’s a pretty common name and he has no verifiable proof it’s the same guy, but gotta get the narrative out there before the facts come in.
