Some have opposed the company's support of the traditional family. "Well, guilty as charged," said Cathy when asked about the company's position.
"We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.
"We operate as a family business ... our restaurants are typically led by families; some are single. We want to do anything we possibly can to strengthen families. We are very much committed to that," Cathy emphasized.

God bless you Cathy!
In this day and age of atheist oppression (there is no secularism, you are either for God or against Him), it warms my heart to see people stand up for what is right, especially with such pride. I have been their COW! Very fun for elementary kids to see the chick COW.
The attack on God’s Word has been waged since God first spoke to humans.

MY word will NOT return to me void...
You will love them! They have absolutely the BEST chicken anywhere. The chicken biscuits will melt in your mouth!
The next time I a, traveling & I see one of their restaurants, I will patronize them.
I love Chick-fil-A! We don’t have many of them out here, but when I lived in NC, there were quite a few of them.
They were one of the very few businesses that was still closed on Sundays after the blue laws were stricken.
They wanted to give their employees the Sabbath, and a day of worship and rest.
Wish we had a chic-fil-A here.
Me, too. In all of the years I’ve been in Oregon, I’ve seen only one.
