• Someone ELSE gave up a vacation
• Someone ELSE lost sleep over deadlines
• Someone ELSE took risks, gambled with their future, domestic life and income

That “somebody else” is the government.
This is the key to the worldview of the Democrat Party and the liberals. They say that the only way to succeed is to take advantage of others. People are successful only if they exploit others. This is the basis for all the attacks on capitalism and personal freedom. This is the basis for the attacks on individual rights and individual responsibility. This is the basis for the need of the government to restrict and suppress personal freedom. This is the basis for the need for government to confiscate private property. This is the rationale for establishing a brutal totalitarian society where the citizens live in fear and are never able to keep the benefits of what they produce.
This is what Barack Obama is. This is today's Democrat Party. This is the future of America under Obama.
Conservatives need to make these points clearly and forcefully or our great country is doomed.

I guess as a business owner...I also get to send someone else, the tax bills, the worker comp bills, the insurance bills, etc....and I guess any legal papers can be sent to someone else.

I started my business from scratch over ten years ago and until recently normally spend 60-80 plus hours at work.
After hearing the president, she believes I am having an affair. She said if the government really built my business then why all the extra hours?
The problem is, the driveby media, including ABC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC/NBC/PBS/NYT/WaPo, have NOT done one word on this speech and what Obama said.
They are ignoring it. Unless you’re a FReeper or listen/watch/read right wing news/web sites, you’d never know it!

Yup...AND when a worker is injured on your premises or injured in the course of their work, that is someone ELSE’S concern as well!

Frankly, with all the risks, problems (foreseeable and unforeseeable), with all the existing and increasing government obstacles and impediments to success.... etc. I think it would take a tremendous amount of courage and commitment to begin a business.
Even in the best of economic environments, there is absolutely NO guarantee that you will be compensated for your time, effort and RISK.
Socialism/Communism has a vast and steady appeal for indolent and cowardly people!
