It's the way they find out if the broad society is stupid enough to think they are only asking for the time or some "spare" change. You have to hand it to them. Not surprising. This store is not exactly in the best part of town. We locals refer to this area as the “Northwest Quadrant”. About 10 years ago I had my car stolen from my driveway during the night. Two days later they found it abandoned in the parking lot of this Wal_Mart. I found that interesting since I lived on the other side of town about 30 miles from this store. This location must still be a magnet for these thugs.
“Flash Mob Secure” stores could also post notice that they are, indeed, secure and protected from this kind of thing.
Would drive business INTO the protected stores — and forget the others, who are too chickensh*t to do anything about the “Holderyutes” invading their stores and terrorizing customers.
This kind of thing could send an innocent elderly person into coronary arrest on the spot.
Obama is coming to Jacksonville on Thursday to ask for 4 more years to move “Forward”. Maybe he can address the community about this youth problem /sarcasm
I suspect he'll try to identify them so that he can have them measured for uniforms.

Side issue - I happen to be driving down to Jacksonville tomorrow - what caliber(s) should I take? I have the choice of .45 ACP, .357 Mag, .38, .380, .40 S&W .44 Mag, .223, .308, 12 gauge, .22. That’s all I can think of at the moment.
They destroyed food products, destroyed an anti theft scanner and stole merchandise. There is still a suspicious shortage of details but this is linked to a police raid on an open house party that got out of hand.
I'm an old guy. A group of young, fit thugs would have little problem beating me to death ("disparity of force"), unless I use a weapon to even things out.
In a situation where I have reasonable fear that I am about to be assaulted by one or more thugs, and a disparity of force exists on their part, then I have the legal right to use deadly force to terminate the threat. In the case of a hostile mob, this would take the form of opening fire upon any or all approaching thugs.
