Having spent a career in the Army, every time I see West, I chuckle and wish I could be inside the heads of his “superior officers” who drummed him out of the army over the pistol interrogation.
It wasn’t that long ago, so some of them are still there. They probably shake thinking of him as a congressman.
Can you imagine if he were the Commander in Chief. They’d have to change their bedsheets.
DeMint is not interested and he has said as much. In fact, he is in his last term as Senator.
Palin refused to run, she has said no.
I like West, but if West were interested he would have run. he has no business being elevated ahead of other people who did run.
I do not remember her refusing to run, she just said not now and she has said in a brokered convention she would step up.
What do you mean :hasn’t made her case”, that is pretty much all she does.
Is Walker pro-life? Do you know?
Sarah Palin, without question.
The time of dream died when Roberts’ Court said ObamaCare was Constitutional. Even Roberts told us that We the electorate is the only thing to save the Republic because the Court system sure will not.
Stop dreaming and start ACTING.
Flame off!
She refused to run last October when she said she was not interested (the same time she ruled out a third party run). When did she say she would step in to a brokered convention?
West’s being a junior congressman pretty much makes it impossible for him to have announced.
However, if our “what if” game, it is possible for a stellar leader to get tapped on the shoulder and asked to put his name in contention.
West has some good credentials. For one, he’s fearless.
the General has been a good military man who has remained a-political
But the obamites hated “Betray-Us” so I would assume he is a Republican and I know he is a good leader who handed a pacified Iraq to the civilian obamites - to lose
he has been very silent at the CIA, which is commendable
His predecessor Mike Hayden would also make a great VP
Yep, a lot of things would be different if we could all fart wish-granting angels riding unicorns.
Palin,Cain,West or Walker.
And, don’t forget Romney was aided by out and out fraud in Virginia undertaken by his Rombots. All of those guys have to be excluded, as does Romney ~ who failed to object
Seriously, look at FR - we're tearing each other apart over Romney. The GOP-E at this point probably sees a Romney win in November as icing on the cake of having set the conservative movement upon itself. Why on Earth would they go along with taking out the guy making all this possible?
Now, if Romney wins in November, the conservative base will be so fractured that it might not be able to coalesce back into an effective resistance against RINO socialism and as a means to nominate effective Tea Party alternatives in the 2014 primaries. If 2012 is any indication, we'll shred our own and open the door for the RINO to win the primary.
Can we please realize that the 2012 presidential elections basically are very bad news, no matter who wins between Romney and Obama, that short of something horrific happening to Romney that there is no way he will not be the nominee, and that our battle is to push as many conservatives over the line in down-ticket races?
And her running mate could be Gingrich, or Kasich, or Rubio, or West.
And, don’t forget Romney was aided by out and out fraud in Virginia undertaken by his Mitbots. All of those guys have to be excluded, as does Romney ~ who failed to object
Mitt’s support is weak.
Do you think it is helpful or honorable to lie and spin for your candidate?
Or do you think it best just to be upfront, dirty laundry and all?
I prefer just letting the truth hang out. That’s always best in the long run. (The same with Mitt and his tax returns. Just release them and deal with it. The same with Obama and his records. Just release them and deal with it.)
The truth shall set us free.
DeMint (I know he’s a Romney guy, but he IS conservative)
Palin
Perry
Gingrich
I would say Scott Walker, except we need him in Wisconsin for the time being. Maybe he can run in 2016 or 2020.
Palin.
The GOPe has no interest in winning in November or any other
time. They are in it to take the money, starting
with Bishop Romney who is meek as a mouse for his Obama.
With them out in the open now, willing to sell out Conservative principles at the drop of a hat, I think we will have a far stronger Conservative movement.
