Nobody has a lock on predicting the future, especially your humble author. There are certain things and certain events I expected, that did not materialize (yet).
After the Occupy Wall Street protests last year, I fully expected a mass mobilization -- much larger this time -- of the same movement. I was sure they would be co-opted by the Marxists and Obama (but, I repeat myself). I thought the movement would be made more violent, on purpose, to give Obama a chance to either show leadership by taking them down, or to discourage voting in November, or even possibly to declare a national emergency and rule by diktat.
This doesn't seem to be materializing. It may still come to pass, but at this stage, it won't have as much time to make a large impact. I was wrong.
I also thought Donald Trump was a mole, saying things that would appeal to conservatives. The Democrats would then run him as a third-party, in the fashion of Ross Perot, to siphon off conservative votes and deliver the Presidency to Obama for the terminal second term.
It's too late for Donald to mount a meaningful run, yet he's still going out on network news and political shows, and taking Obama to task for his absurd and outright-Marxist positions and comments. I was wrong.
I won't even go into the debacle of the Obamacare Supreme Court decision, except to remark I was completely, utterly wrong.
Now that I have established my credentials, this is how I see the political season unfolding:
1) I expect Obama to start a war with Syria or Iran, and time it so that the historical peak of Presidential popularity overlaps perfectly with the vote in November.
2) Should Obama lose, I expect he will so misuse the Presidential Pardon, that there will be a hue and cry for it to be limited. Obama could even go as far as pardoning every felon in America, just to cause problems and chaos.
3) Should Obama win, I expect that there will be no more elections, for any position whatsoever, within one to two years. He will overthrow the system.
Excellent point, and one I missed. Alright, FEDERAL felons get a mass-pardon.
Excellent point, and one I missed. Alright, FEDERAL felons get a mass-pardon.
For the scenario to be attempted, Obama would need much more time to insert people loyal to him in all the various armed federal entities. Which is why he cannot be allowed to win a second term.
Seriously, you make salient points. I concede all of what you wrote.
In the works are gun control, undercutting the sovereignty of our coastlines and abilities on the sea and a host of others we won't like.
They will have their wet dreams before they go.
I'm thinking he's too lazy to do all that. He's much more interested in vacations, ice cream, and golf.
I often note that if Adolf Hitler was as lazy as Obama, the 1940's would have been a pretty nice decade.
Also consider the laziness of Nobama and how spoiled his wife is. Being a dictator is hard work. I'm sure, the selfish side of him would rather fade away on a massive lifetime salary all ex-Presidents get and play golf all day and send the wife around the world shopping.
LOL, GMTA. I should have waited a few more minutes before posting the last one.
Right now, I've decided YOUR take on things is PERFECT.
#1) count on him trying this.
#2) yes, other than state felons.
#3) then there would be an election using bullets instead of ballots.
“Secret Service agents. Capitol police. The military.”

All of which have been weakeneid.
Be careful.....you may put yourself in the running for the Annual Dick (Listen to me, I am always wrong) Morris Award.
At least you are man enough to admit when you have been wrong. Not sure Dick Morris has ever done that.....
Yes, they are just waiting to use some future racial event or create one, for the Treyvon Martin crowds to be brought back to the streets. In the meantime, 0bama’s going to get every single possible person signed up for some kind of government benefits, so they will vote for him. Then he’ll be sure they all have their free phones, on which he will send them all personal messages to get out the vote.
Syria and Iran seem like difficult targets. How about Mauritania or Trinidad?
In complete agreement with #1. I heard on the news we’re amassing a huge armada of military vessels in the Persian Gulf.
All this concern about an October surprise is misplaced. The U.S. could go to war with Iran or Syria but that’s not going to make people want to vote for Obama who weren’t already going to anyhow. If anything, it will piss off his left-wing base.
But a war with Iran or Syria could cause 0bama to suspend elections for public safety reasons or some such crap. Who would stop him?
Note my post #29.
I absolutely agree with everything you wrote. How I could have felt otherwise is absurd.
;^)
On a serious tip: You know this, I know this, but Obama is not that bright. He's counting on the historical precedence of the "Rally 'Round The Flag".
