Republican John Brunner's U.S. Senate campaign is acknowleging that Brunner's former company was more than two months late paying property taxes on a company-owned plane in 2006an admission that Democrats hope will take incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill's own tax problems off the table as a campaign issue.
Brunner is one of three major candidates vying for the GOP nomination in Missouri's Aug. 7 primary. The winner will challenge McCaskill, D-Mo., in the Nov. 6 general election.

This is just what McCaskill needs, an opponent who can neutralize one of her biggest liabilities. Sarah Steelman is the best candidate running this year.
Two months vs two years and 8K vs 300K, yeah that is exactly the same.
Pray for America
Brunner won’t even win the Primary, Steelman is the choice. Steelman will clean Claire’s clock.
Brunner is my last choice of the three.
I’d vote for Sarah...
Brunner is a real person, a self-made man. Todd is a slickster, Sara is a Republican Carnahan.
“.....Sara is a Republican Carnahan.”

Actually, Sarah Steelman is Missouri’s Sarah Palin. As a Senator she will be every bit as unwavering, dependable and solid a conservative as would Palin.
With her joining the likes of Indiana’s Mourdock, Ohio’s Mandel, Texas’ Cruz and others as reinforcements for the conservative Republicans already in the Senate we could look forward to a Senate which we can finally be proud of as patriots and lovers of liberty. I’m sure that McConnell has sleepless nights contemplating the potential arrival of this classy group of freshman Senators in January 2013.
“Sara is a Republican Carnahan?” Color me confused...Could you explain that?
Steelman has the upper hand over McCaskill. No need to gamble with someone who has liabilities.

I agree! Steelman is NOT the answer. She was horrible in the Republican candidate debates, stuttering and stammering with incoherent, rambling answers. She also voted against tort reform in Missouri when Holden (D) was governor. She is a lawyer along with her husband and comes from a long line of lawyers beholden to the MO bar. Akin sounds good, but I prefer Brunner. Read the news article and you will see that there is nothing to the story. Enough of the McConnells, Boehners, Blunts(who endorsed Romney), etc. What have they done for us lately.
