President Obama is obviously panicked. Last month Obama and his supporters spent a lot more than Mitt Romney, but even with that cash advantage and the media on their side, the polls haven't budged. Moreover, the President and his campaign have been running around frantically trying to find something that will stick to Romney, be it provable lies about his outsourcing and outright smears involving offshore accounts. Still, Obama can't get above 47% and Romney hasn't even started campaigning in earnest or spending the $160 million he has on hand.
Today, in yet another desperate attempt to win a news cycle as opposed to do his job and whats best for the country,
Obama will use the high-profile setting of the Rose Garden to call for a huge tax increase on those making $250,000 or more, which will, of course, hit who knows how many small business owners.
Naturally, Obama and his Media Palace Guards will spin today's announcement as a call to keep in place the Bush-era tax cuts for those making under $250,000 a year (a middle class tax cut), but it's really a call to raise taxes on our nation's job creators.

No one knows what lever you pull in the voting booth.
Heard some guy on the radio late last evening...Cunningham (don’t remember his first name)...making the statement that there is no excitement for Romney in Ohio, none whatsoever. I don’t know; I could be wrong, but I took that as probably a realistic assessment of Romney and his campaign in the eyes of the electorate - no excitement at all. (Obviously, this could change by the fall.) Could there not have been a worse candidate to run against Obama...worse than McCain, even, IMHO of course.
There are a lot of reasons to worry about a wannabe dictator with these characteristics.
I know what you mean. I know a LOT of politically active, politically minded people, I mean like state coordinators for advocacy groups, county GOP chairmen, etc., and I can’t think of a single one - outside of one woman who would get excited over a lump of jello if it had the “R” label on it - who is really happy or even satisfied with the current nominee.
It’s a shame - if Obama wins, there will be no one to blame but Republicans and conservatives themselves, for diddling around, flitting from one not-Romney to the next, tearing apart every conservative candidate for even the tiniest little flaws, and letting the Stepford Candidate skate in like he did.
They’re losin’ it! lol
He doesnt realize this will only make the people who would ALREADY VOTED FOR HIM happy.
***
The people who already voted for him were enough to give him a first term. He doesn’t just realise it, he’s banking on it.
Could married, filing separately avoid higher taxes?
Usually not, as they would be the same as filing as single and may wind up paying even more taxes.......
Since the Constitution is based, albeit indirectly, on the Law of God, such a “fairness” doctrine can be shown to be anti-biblical.
Leviticus 19:15 says to not show favoritism to the poor or give them any special treatment, ie, to treat rich and poor the same.
They should be taxed at the same rate as well.
Of course, anything coming from the left would turn this on its head and call it “good”. One of the planks of the communist manifesto, and of the democRat party, is a “highly progressive income tax”.
250K, the new “millionaires”. Watch what happens in France with the 70% tax on “millionaires”, no one will make over 999,000F or .
Oh, come on; we all know Obama's going to declare Romney as his running-mate/VP.
