Author says she wanted to counter the propaganda used by pro-life activists.
An anti-life activist has surreptitiously photographed her own abortion and posted the images online in what she claims is an effort to "demystify" the practice. The woman, who uses the name "Jane Young" on the site, claims the imagery commonly used by pro-life activists, is mere propaganda and that women are being used as pawns in a national debate.
Recently, I had an abortion.
Lining the street in front of the clinic were a dozen or so protesters. They held up large banners with anti-abortion slogans, religious iconography, and images of dead babies.
Just past the bulletproof security doors, the graphic nature of that imagery haunted me in the waiting room. What would my abortion look like? I decided to secretly document my abortion with my cell phone.
My intention in documenting and sharing my abortion is to demystify the sensationalist images propagated by the religious and political right on this matter. The perverse use of lifeless fetus photographs are a propaganda tool in the prolife/prochoice debate in which women and their bodies are used as pawns to push a cultural, political, and religious agenda in the United States.
At 6 weeks of pregnancy, my abortion looked very different than the images I saw when I entered the clinic that day.
This is my abortion.

Sick woman. But not unique.
Uh-huh.
I'm sure your "doctor" had no idea you were clicking away.
Glorifying the destruction of nascent human life.
The Pro-Kill crowd is so hip. /s
I just gave her a comment. I don’t suppose she’ll like it, but tough for her. She’s a murderer.
Some truth in advertising that is.
Of course, from HER point of view, a Pro-murder activist and “customer” of an abortion mill, she isn’t going to see the graphic part. Did she see what was in the suction machine? Did she look at the fetal tissue that was shredded? I’m sure it would have been pretty difficult to identify body parts after being put through the violent shredding that suction abortions use.
But that’s ok - Many “Christians” will support this woman and the murderous abortion industry anyway, falling for the “its my body” line of satanic Lies.
Remember - Satan is described as the “great deceiver”, and this woman is a prime example.
I did likewise..
It’s only a choice for ONE of the participants..
She'll simply delete your comment once she returns from dinner with her publicist.
THIS IS MY ABORTION - WARNING: Content may be disturbing to some viewers
She posted a comment stating that she deletes opposing viewpoint comments because "hate" has no place on her page. Ironic, no?
Some concentration camp guards, members of SS Einsatzgruppen, and even a few Wehrmacht soldiers sent home pictures of their “work” in the East. I suppose they assumed they would find approval back home for their deeds ... and, sadly, some did. But both their assumptions and the reactions to their photos back home established no truth or fact. The day came when they would find themselves pursued by war crimes investigators and their deeds be met by the opprobrium they deserve. This woman’s chronicling of her “work” will find the same reception some day in this world or, failing that, in the next.
Bottom line: You don’t murder others of God’s creation without consequence. For their blood too cries out from the earth for justice.
Nothing like being a prostitute.
Wow, that’s going to make an incredible scrapbooking project.
When Yahoo used to have Clubs, there was one called “Abortion Celebration”. When I first started on FR, I posted a whole bunch of their quotes. It was truly vile, vile stuff.
How much of the infertility in the U.S. today is the direct consequence of so called “safe” abortions? I doubt we will ever know.

I’ve had seven pregnancies, three living children. My very first pregnancy was a miscarriage and basically they did what they would do during abortion. The other three miscarriages, one just this year on New Year’s Day, I let happen naturally. I didn’t want to go through that horrible procedure again. Even though I’m probably getting long in tooth now for a viable pregnancy, I like to avoid anything that is unnatural as I believe it can and does affect women’s bodies. I’ve never used birth control either.
My condolences on the loss of your babies.
I guess your blood boils even more than that of others when you read about women like this.
