Jonathan Krohn took the political world by storm at 2009s Conservative Political Action Conference when, at just 13 years old, he delivered an impromptu rallying cry for conservatism that became a viral hit and had some pegging him as a future star of the Republican Party.
Now 17, Krohn who went on to write a book, Defining Conservatism, that was blurbed by the likes of Newt Gingrich and Bill Bennett still watches that speech from time to time, but it mostly makes him cringe because, well, hes not a conservative anymore.

PDS? Nothing I've posted on this thread has anything to do with her.
You're a loon.
The philosophy of Wittgenstein and linguistic analysis, regards the search for truth as a trivial word game. When a person accepts the garbage of Kant and the German idealists, what one ends up with is irrational skepticism and emotionalism. One learns that reason is a faculty divorced from knowledge of reality and limited to awareness of a world of mere appearances created by the human mind itself. Also, since reality is unknowable to reason,a person must rely on feelings and emotions to attain knowledge of the real. This eliminates the possibility of objective knowledge which leads to no objective knowledge of morality and moral values. This leads to no objective difference between the Founding Fathers and Hitler, Stalin, or Marx except subjective feelings. When one is an irrational skeptic or an emotionalist, the next step is one is led to the conclusion that altruism and collectivism are virtues which leads to the Keynesianism, statism and socialism of libtards.
Make that budding Democrat.
I suspect he’s realized or decided he’s gay and he can’t deal with the conservative case against gay marriage.
Just keep him away from the SCOTUS bench--unless he's there to only serve the geritol to Buzzy Ruth upon demand.
“I started getting into philosophy Nietzsche”
So did I. It made me appreciate conservative philosophy all the more.

That whole scene was uber-creepy to begin with. Kids spouting politics is just wrong. I don’t care what side they pretend to be on.
That kid was like Mini Hannity. Ewwwwwww.....
Better than a LIAR! Your posting history is KNOWN. Not surprised YOU picked out one comment that has messianic in it - the buzz word for all the PDS pissants.
I must not have paid much attention to the kid when he burst on the scene because I don’t even remember him.
I would agree you’ve pretty well hit it out of the ball park here.
HAHAHAHA!!!
It’s PAT!
Churchill’s dictum is only partially true and descriptive more of Brits than Americans. Liberalism in Churchill’s England was very different from the socialism that, thanks to this country’s effete academic community, infects nearly every American college student.
But, back to Krohn, he was a pompous brat at 11, is a pompous brat now, and, regardless of the views that get him coverage, will live the remainder of his life as a pompous brat. Outside the Log Cabin “Republicans,” he’s CPAC’s biggest mistake, and CPAC deserves the embarrassment it courted.
I totally agree, and will go a little further:
I refuse to listen to anything anyone under the age of about 21 has to say about anything. I turn off the radio or TV when they get on the air.
They don't know anything. They haven't lived long enough to know anything, and even if they've had a few extraordinary experiences, they don't have any historical perspective to properly judge anything.
The kis was about as useful to Conservatism as Coulter was.
My bet is the Slimes has a job already for him when he gets out of school. In the meantime he will intern for Brooks.
Kid, not kis... all ready, not already.
Duh
“The kid never did ANYTHING for America - just rhetoric - and you embrace this rant.”
He gave a speech, just like Obama. The first rule of conservatism is that we shouldn’t care about speeches.
“Hell be back, as soon as he has a job and sees where his taxes go.”
He won’t get a job in Obama’s economy...but that’s another reason why he’ll be back.
Which provides more evidence for the theory that social liberalism is ultimately incompatible with fiscal conservatism.
Never heard of this fellow until I read this thread today.
Rhetoric, pffft! PROVEN PRO AMERICAN ACCOMPLISHMENTS!
