“I started getting into philosophy — Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, Kant and lots of other German philosophers.

The philosophy of Wittgenstein and linguistic analysis, regards the search for truth as a trivial word game. When a person accepts the garbage of Kant and the German idealists, what one ends up with is irrational skepticism and emotionalism. One learns that reason is a faculty divorced from knowledge of reality and limited to awareness of a world of mere appearances created by the human mind itself. Also, since reality is unknowable to reason,a person must rely on feelings and emotions to attain knowledge of the real. This eliminates the possibility of objective knowledge which leads to no objective knowledge of morality and moral values. This leads to no objective difference between the Founding Fathers and Hitler, Stalin, or Marx except subjective feelings. When one is an irrational skeptic or an emotionalist, the next step is one is led to the conclusion that altruism and collectivism are virtues which leads to the Keynesianism, statism and socialism of libtards.

““I started getting into philosophy — Nietzsche”

So did I. It made me appreciate conservative philosophy all the more.
