Two wilderness groups have sued the U.S. Forest Service over its decision to allow an irrigation company to use a helicopter to fly in materials needed to repair a dam in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness.
Wilderness Watch and Friends of the Clearwater filed suit in U.S. District Judge Donald Molloys court in Missoula last week.
The groups say the agencys decision to allow the irrigation company up to two helicopter flights to the Fred Burr Dam site violates the Wilderness Act and other environmental laws.
The irrigation company wants to replace a deteriorating catwalk and log boom on the nearly century-old dam... The project has been officially in the works since September 2010
...
The groups asked Molloy ... to be awarded their costs and reasonable attorney fees under the Equal Access to Justice Act.

Have the CIA investigate them and connect them to some terrorist organization.
Shouldn’t be too hard.
Send their leaders a horse’s head :-0
The horse’s head was the head of a horse owned by the recipient.
Send their leaders a deer or elk head.
ok so the forest service helps there but Tombstone Arizona can’t get water because of an owl...gbab

The best way to get rid of these idiotic environmental groups that accomplish nothing but agitating intelligent people is to stop funding them. The Wilderness Act is antiquated and poorly thought out law. It’s time for a change.
Wait, is this the same forest service that won’t let Tombstone use any marchinery to repair its 130 year old water line that existed before Az was a state, or the USFS existed??
Insanity paid for by your money.

The Equal Access to Justice Act. Signed by Carter and fully funded by Reagan.
The original intent of the Act was to protect small businesses from zealous regulators. Some may want to remember this information, it could come in handy some day. I don’t see why we can’t use the law to our advantage like the left does so often.

These coddled left-wing idiots with too much time on their hands haven’t the least idea what nature is all about.
I am very strong supportive of the environment myself. But most of what these idiots do has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Hunters and fishers and small family farmers understand the environment a hell of a lot better than a bunch of hippie suburbanites.
Smokey says, "Don't throw your smoldering roaches on the ground unless they are dead out!"
It's not the Wilderness Act that creates the problem, it's the Acts that allow for suing and getting awarded attorney's fees that creates the problem. If they had to spend their own money to sue, there would be far fewer lawsuits.
What sort of alien planet do these *sswipes live on????
Balloons.....yeah......that’s the answer......balloons.....
Damn straight. If you want change, CHANGE THE FREAKING LAW!!!! Wilderness, Endangered Species, Clean Air, Clean Water, on and on and on. Getting rid of the EPA won’t do it, you have to change the law itself to cut off the maggoty bloodsuckers from the system that allows the enviros to be a fourth branch of govt. It’s the only way.
This BS won't end until the chief fund raisers, board members and attorneys for these groups are dragged from their homes and tarred and feathered.
We used to know how to take care of wannabee aristocrats trying to dictate to the rest of us. But I guess we need to import balls from China now.
No...wait....better idea.....eagles.....we’ll have eagles haul the stuff in......that’s as natural as can be.....and then we eat the eagles......it’s all part of the big circle of life.....eagle on the barbecue....now there’s a 4th of July treat.....
Waiting for U.S. District Judge Donald Molloys decision
“...the chief fund raisers, board members...”
I think you are one of the chief fund raisers for these nonprofit groups. They use our tax dollars to promote their lunacy.
This is ridiculous but won't at all be surprised if he rules in the enviro-nazis favor.
