Mark Levin, a constitutional lawyer, said last night on his show that it will NOT be possible for Romney to repeal HC on day one...like he says.
Not repeal it.. .yet... but he can in fact issue waivers to every state until it is repealed.
Well, if there’s a house/senate/president republican...the tax portion of it can be repealed by mere majority. The rest will then be slowly dismantled.
Sure he can. The Congress is sworn in first week of January. The president is sworn in the third week. The House and Senate both can vote to repeal as soon as they are sworn & Romney can sign the bill on his first day. How am I wrong about this?
IIRC, Romney said he would “act to repeal” it, not that he would actually repel it.
