Obamanomics: Economics For Dummies (Forbes - full of facts, send to friends)

...Obama's recovery has been pitiful, again the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression, especially as compared to the all-time record Reagan recovery.

Indeed, if Obama's perverse policies are not reversed, his soaring tax rate increases next year on top of his skyrocketing regulatory burdens and runaway federal spending, deficits and debt, will just throw America back into recession, before there was even any real recovery from the last recession. Then unemployment will soar back into double digits, the deficit will soar to new records over $2 trillion, and President Obama will have added more to the national debt than all prior U.S. Presidents combined, from George Washington to George Bush. The entire period will then look just like an historical reenactment of the 1930s. That should be no surprise that Obama in modeling his Administration after FDR is getting the same results as FDR. That is not fighting for the middle class, that is trashing the middle class.

“Tax increases for NEW programs, when we haven’t paid for the ORIGINAL ones (SS, Medicare and the huge debt)?”

This should be the main talking point of the GOP.

..... OK .... I'm no Economist BUT ..... If the so called ObamaCare is going to cost the United States of America a whopping 1/5 of it's entire economy to support it .... Doesn't this immediately SHRINK the economy by that same amount? That's almost a 25% drop ... but at least people will be able to buy affordable healthcare!!!

And that brings up another question ..... has anybody crunched the numbers to calculate just what the heck "affordable" healthcare will cost the average Joe Sixpack? Per month? Per Year?

We definitely need to have these tangible numbers to dump on the electorate before the election to show them that this sure ain't going to be a free ride for most ...... in fact .... my guess is that it will be a shockingly grossly expensive one for most cuz most people think it is FREE healthcare that is being pushed. Most don't understand that the Affordable Healthcare Act is a mandate to force EVERYBODY to buy insurance .... even if they don't want it or can't afford it! The only people that will receive the so called free health care will be the usual people ... welfare, low income people...... who are already receiving all of the other freebies.
