There’s a faceless bureaucratic panel, and the acronym is the IPAB, and it will be a board that will tell you Bob, whether your level of productivity in society is worthy of receiving the rationed care that will be a result of Obamacare. Consider this Bob, it defies all common sense to ever consider that health care won’t be rationed, when, obviously with more and more enrollees in the program and fewer and fewer services being provided because it will be so inefficient and expensive and bureaucratic, of course, healthcare in a socialized system which this will become, it will be rationed.

She’s right, of course. But everything is rationed now, by price. We can no more afford Cadillac health care for everybody than we can afford to give everybody Cadillacs. There is simply no way to pay for uncapped health care for everybody. Right now, cost is the regulating lever. Once there is an overflow of unmet needs, there will quickly be a shortage of available funds. Then the waits begin, followed shortly by the rationing and the denial of service.
Also people should mention this fact, if socialized medicine is so awesome, how come people aren’t flocking to Canada for treatment. I never hear anyone say “Im sick gotta go catch that flight to Canada.” People come here to the US from Canada and other European countries to get treatment for cancer and other diseases because due to rationed care, by the time they are diagnosed its already in late stages

105, cold snap coming. 125 is all too often and have seen 128 before for a couple days running.
Biggest joke around here; where is the cold water faucet?
We had company over the week end, they were taking a shower and then got into a fight as to which one used all the cold water.
The only articles I could find said that the House had voted to take out the IPAB panels. Those were from March and April.
Does anyone know what has happened since?
