TheU.S. Supreme Courts decision Thursday to uphold all but one part of the 2010 healthcare law produced some strong reactions. Supporters declared victory and opponents vowed to keep fighting. That much was to be expected.
But Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Pauls rant against the high courts ruling was a surprise of sorts. The physician-turned-elected-official appeared to suggest that the court needs a legal lesson or two.
Just because a couple people on the Supreme Court declare something to be constitutional does not make it so. The whole thing remains unconstitutional, Paul said in a statement. While the court may have erroneously come to the conclusion that the law is allowable, it certainly does nothing to make this mandate or government takeover of our healthcare right.
Obamacare is wrong for Americans. It will destroy our health care system. This now means we fight every hour, every day until November to elect a new President and a new Senate to repeal Obamacare, he continued.

I prefer “Go Fluke yourselves!”
Of course now the libs are shocked that people would dare criticize the court. Funny that, they were saying the same thing a couple of days ago, and would be saying worse had 0-care been correctly declared unconstitutional.
Even if we manage to get the Senate and Presidency the damage this dictator will make by January will throw America so far into destruction that it will take many years to correct.
Please, not until we have a real conservative president to fill the vacancies!
Thanks for posting. This article links to a pdf of the actual 193 pg road apple itself.
What is astounding is that Kennedy wanted to toss the whole legislation, while Roberts saved it. I would have expected Kennedy to try to prop this thing up. The one time we really needed Roberts to come through, he totally failed.
And the damaged done by this decision and Roberts will remain for years.
oh can't wait...hurry up November
Ohhhh..
Good point!
Not sure they can live that long.
“... a freshman senator declared that just because some people on the Supreme Court weigh in on a legal matter, that doesnt mean they know what they are doing.”
He is correct...and he is correct in suggesting that ‘one or two’ decided this thing. With the split between ‘conservative’ and ‘communist’ on the court, it will be ‘one or two’ deciding...the swing votes. What we did not expect was that Roberts would be one of the ‘swing’ votes. This is disturbing. He also was erronously on the side of Obama/Holder regarding the Arizona Immigration Law. It will soon be time to flush this turd down into the sewer with the filth he has chosen to be his comrades.
“...road apple...”
LOL...I was in Holmes County, Ohio yesterday, and saw lots of them ‘road apples’ as I passed numerous Amish buggies.
“...the damaged done by this decision and Roberts will remain for years.”
Only until the next Tea Party...
It's worse. The Business Cycle IMHO will not respond to Romney like hitting the gas pedal on a 427 AC Cobra either....
In fact I spoke with a commerical banker recently and what he had to say was sobering. Startup company? They won't touch, go to VC, old time old clients sure, but they are cautious because they are afraid of violating Dodd Frank even though it isn't all filled in, so they don't want to get gigged for what hasn't been written. On top of that all his clients are conserving cash i.e Obamacare and do we get rid of Da-One. So the cash they holding onto of which they should have done in 2006, so their behavior is 5 or 6 yrs late. In his Humble Opinion, it will take 3 years to unwind what he has done if repealed quickly and did not see the economy or business changing behavior until 3 years after Obama...
And that truly sucks...
Ah I see it. I think I will post it separately as a link to a post.
Roberts has got the decorum disease really bad. Which makes him a lot like Bush really.
To many episodes of the Sopranos, knowing how the real world is, and political cynicism, makes me wonder, what do they really have on Roberts?...
And why wasn’t Kagan forced to recuse herself? A 4-4 split would have reverted to the lower court’s decision.
Love ya Rand, and I'll vote for you provided you are not on Romney's ticket. But I'm not going to vote for another RINO so that he can nominate another Roberts, sorry!
That totally blows. Better to get rid of Obama now because I fear he will get more dangerous.
