I also believe that this will doom Obamas re-election in November but I'm hardly sanguine about a 'President Romney' and a Republican congress repealing the monstrosity that is 'Obamacare'. However, I'll still vote Republican and hope for the best while, realistically, expecting much less.
As for John Roberts, I refuse to hate another person but right now, I sure do dislike the man and think he's sold out America with his deciding vote that upheld Obamacare. Shame on him.

I’m not real sure what this whole decision means in the long run since IANAL, but I’m not real confident. If there are openings in the decision that allow Congress to gut it or not. So, although I’m extremely disappointed in SCOTUS for not just stomping this into oblivion and throwing into the ashpile of history, I’m going through a gut check, I’m not giving up.

Romney, a REPUBLICAN (not a conservative) is a proponent of exactly this type of legislation, even secured its passage in MA.

If Kagan had recused herself, the vote would have been 4-4 which means the law would have been upheld. Recusal still should have applied on principle.
The handwriting was on the wall when the Arizona immigration case decision came down. The ACA law will never be repealed, it is a stepping stone to single payor. Follow the money, always follow the money.

Roberts was intimidated and he was looking for a way out. Calling it TAX was his way out and to shield/protect himself. He is a coward by nature and the rats have understood how to cow him.

Chief Justice Roberts is a traitor to the US Constitution, as are the other 4 who voted to uphold this mandate (IMO, of course).
What will Romney say about this? He needs to fan the flames at this point to take our country back, starting with the executive and congressional branches.
A coward? Was Jefferson a coward? Was Washington a coward? All our founding fathers were not cowards. They faced an out of control gov’t in England and fought to leave it.
The America I was promised as a kid was just revoked. The America my father fought for was just destroyed.
We should push for a mandate that all adults must own a gun.
