And what amazes me is that the usual swing vote (Kennedy) voted WITH the conservatives! If Roberts had voted with Kennedy and the others, this thing would have been obliterated. It makes me wonder.........was he bribed, threatened,etc?
Roberts has usually been a reliable, conservative vote. I have a feeling something may have happened that we don’t know about....
When people get over the innitial shock and clear heads start thinking, we may find we have just been handed the election AND the end of Obamacare/Dem rule on a golden platter.

As much as I dislike Mitt Romney. He is our only chance of getting rid of this Obama-nation now. He claims that if elected he will exempt everybody from the requirements by granting a universal waiver.

You’re completely missing the big picture. Sure, in the short run this could be the downfall of Obama.
But this IS a bad thing. It’s a HORRIBLE, UNBELIEVABLY BAD thing. The Supreme Court has just declared that Congress can force almost ANYTHING on us (except perhaps telling the truth about military service), so long as the penalty for non-compliance is a tax. We are not a free country until this decision in reversed.
It means the govt. can’t force you to buy health insurance, but they can tax you if you don’t.

Well we would be getting taxed for this monstrosity either way. At least now people can opt out.
I guess that’s somewhat ok. Just wait until those who don’t want the healthcare bill get a huge tax for it...the constituents will not likely.
I am waiting for RUSH’s take on this in an hour. I especially am interested in what he has to say about this brand new tax having to be approved by the Congress. If this is true I don’t see any chance of the current Congress approving the ObamaCare tax.
You’re right. Kennedy voted to dump the whole thing. I’d bet he actually wrote most of the joint dissent. This is all Roberts. He saved Obamacare.
