WashPost's Aaron Blake Tells David Shuster Fast & Furious Is Just 'Process Arguments' That Bore
Newsbusters ^ | 6/24/12 | Tim Graham

Washington Post political reporter Aaron Blake was wearing his usual liberal hat when he appeared on the Bill Press radio/Current TV show on Thursday. Guest host David Shuster asked him, "So regarding President Obama asserting executive privilege yesterday, condemning the use of executive privilege five years ago, how big of a political problem is this for him?"

Blake stepped over Obama's inconsitency and dismissed the whole thing as buried in the weeds of "process arguments" the public will tune out (as if government agent Brian Terry's death from American firearms was merely a process argument?):

BLAKE: Well, you know only time's gonna tell on something like this. I think that when you get in the weeds and you’re talking about process arguments like this, I think most of the American people tend to tune it out. I don’t think that the Fast and Furious situation right now really rises up on the radar for most people.

Yes, this is the same liberal operative disguised as a reporter that slammed Republicans as Pelosi "demonizers" and went to Twitter to ask for "outlandish" and incorrect things Newt Gingrich said that he could spread.

Yes. The murder of multiple Federal agents and an act-of-war by shipping arms to Mexico's internal enemies is SOOOOO boring. I mean, YAWN ME TO DEATH over here.

As opposed to the EXCITING Watergate, in which procedural machinations by Nixon became exciting and edge-of-seat material!!!!! WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!! A reel-to-reel tape! How ... EXCITING!

Someone should jack up that asshole and explain to him that the murder of a border patrol agent is not something that should ‘bore’ anyone....the goddam nerve! I’d have punched him.

+++++++++++

LOL. Particularly when their radar is being jammed with anything but F&F by the MSM. This guy is dreaming. Obama has made F&F a big story whether the MSM likes it or not.

And Watergate was a two-bit break-in of a second-tier hotel suite. Bo-ring.

I read elsewhere that someone on our side described F&F as "Watergate with Toe-Tags."

So far I haven’t seen anything official in the name of Jaime Zapata.

Clinton had at least half a dozen scandals worse than Watergate - no big deal.
Iran Contra was not only NOT a scandal, it was a great thing to do, fighting communists with Iranian money and all - and we are told it mars Reagan's Presidency.
George W. Bush had ZERO scandals. The press tried to fan things like firing U.S. attorneys (a perfectly legal thing to do, hell Bill Clinton fired them ALL)into a scandal.
Fast and Furious, to anyone with half a brain - certainly any red-blooded American jounalist hot for a good story - could conceivably top them all. Yet we get yawns from the press.

Does anyone detect a pattern?

Big Media will always cover for all the lying Dems. I sometimes lose faith that we can still save this country when so many in the public still believes Big Media’s lies.

2 dead Federal agents.

300+ dead Mexican citizens, police officers and Federal agents.

No attempt at all to track the guns.

Arming international crime syndicates in foreign countries is State-Sponsored Terrorism!

Boring old process.
