Just curious. If this clown Carney is knowingly lying to the press at press conferences. When the inevitable happens (someone comes forward and volunteers to be state's witness or evidence regarding crimes committed by the administration) what happens to Carney?
Not aware of any statute that prohibits lying at a press conference.
no
He isn’t under oath, and you would have to prove he was lying as well...I think.
Nothing. He’s not swearing under oath or testifying under penalty of perjury. You can lie all day like a hound dog. Unless your under oath, there’s not much anyone can do.
Nice try nOOb ....
Don’t know. But he needs to get some kind of an award for resembling ‘American Psycho’. He reeks of ‘serial killer’ every time I see him. Appears to be mild mannered.......but can snap at any time because of his narcissism. Oh, wait. We’re taking about Carney, right? *guarded chuckle*
Jay Carney reminds me of Kevin Bacon’s character in “Animal House”: “ALL IS WELL!!! ALL IS WELL!!!”
“Do you like Huey Lewis and the News?”
I thought they paid him to lie.
Bambi lies every day! And still we can’t do anything about it. He would have to lie under oath to make it stick.... Notice he won’t enter a courtroom. Heck he couldn’t even place his hand on the bible for his swearing in ceremony without blowing it and had to have a do over behind closed doors!
You think his lying on this day is a novelty? He must falsify and deceive early and often when he steps up to the mic. Always. It’s in the job description and a prized skill set for the asset. And, btw, he’s not an accomplished, world-class liar. Funny, none in this adm seem to be. Holder telegraphs his lies with his painful grimaces; it’s too transparent (and funny). Now, Clintoon, he was an epic liar...

oh, please...
There is one thing that the press can do if they have the guts. Every time Carney tells a fib, they should burst into laughter and mock him. He lies only work because few, if any, challenge him at the moment he utters the lie.
He’ll get a raise. For democrats, lying is a good career move.
The short answer is no, since he’s not testifying under oath.
