NBC is premiering a new competition show later this summer, bringing the likes of Sarah Palins husband Todd Palin and singer Nick Lachey together with former Army General and Democratic presidential hopeful Wesley Clark as co-host. The show, Stars Earn Stripes, describes itself as a fierce and emotionally charged new competition show honoring Americas armed forces.
Each celebrity contestant will be paired up with an operative (meaning: former military or law enforcement member) and make their way through missions inspired by real military exercises. Per the press release: From helicopter drops to long range weapons fire the competitors will be tested physically and emotionally as they play to win and to earn a cash prize for military, veterans and first-responder based charities.

Does the winner get a free tank?.........
I think anyone who almost started WW-III deserves their own TV show. I mean, why not?
He is one huge, steaming... POS!
To bad Wesley Clark is on the show, otherwise I would have watched it.
I’m surprised Wes would agree to host a pro-am military competition show where at least one of the celebrity amateurs is manlier than he is.
Nice to see NBC buying off the Palin’s now...
Don’t Do It Todd!!
“Nice to see NBC buying off the Palins now...”
No surprise....It’s always been about them.
Hear what they say...all nice and feel good...but watch what they do...
Sarah the other night said conservatives need to infiltrate pop culture shows to reach people and audiences who otherwise would never see or know about conservatives.
With that said, I agree and think it is a good move by Todd, he gets exposure and makes some $, paid by the enemy.
Todd Palin should spend an evening reading FR threads on Clark before hitching his public reputation to the Democrat Perfumed Prince.
It’s cheaper than hiring writers and actors.

Yep. It’s the Breitbart argument. And it’s a savvy one. Although I admit I personally get a bit queasy over the contrived nature of this peculiar tv genre.
Ultimately, sounds pro-military and agreeably innocuous, and will probably wind up being a positive overall, despite naysayers. But good grief... Wesley Clarke???
Certainly he will beat the 10 seconds NBC has dedicated to the worst DC scandal in 30 years...
Taking Reality TV to new heights of absurdity and lunacy..
Is this the best the Gubamint Media Celebrity Complex and
NBC (home of more commies than Cuba) can do? Dare I ask.
The Palins have been bitten by the Hollywood bug.

Ding, ding, ding!!!!
