It may “legally” stand, but then the beast can also be starved...
A Senate win is imperative.

A Senate win is imperative.
If the SCOTUS lets it stand, a House and Senate overturn would render it null and void and there's nothing the SCOTUS could do about it.

I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s 5-4 to uphold. I do not trust Kennedy and will probably be more shocked if SCOTUS struck it down. These times we live in do not inspire confidence or optimism in regard to anything court/law related.
I will be praying because this country will take a drastic turn for the worse if this doesn’t go our way.

I say the S.C. ruling determines the next President.
Hope this continues to be a bad month for the communist!

Let me write some headlines for the Los Angeles Times for the next few days:
Supreme Court may reveal healthcare verdict Friday
Supreme Court may reveal healthcare verdict Monday
Supreme Court may reveal healthcare verdict Tuesday
and here’s some more they are good at. Just fill in the blanks.
___________ may lead to __________.
___________ can lead to __________.
They don’t print news anymore, just prognostication and opinion.

Seems to me we a had a string going Monday of this week expecting the SCOTUS decisions due this month to be handed down within a few hours. Learned years ago not to believe half the BS handed down at FR as fact ... occasionally FR is ahead of the curve ... enough, for the most part, to keep me interested ... but, it's in a downward spiral in recent years.

Tomorrow just happens to be Constitution Day. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

You just know the libs offered Kennedy the opportunity to write the opinion if he would join them. I think he has been more steadfast since O’Connor left. She was the devil standing on his shoulder and talking him into being liberal. But I still don’t trust him. He fears bad press more than bad decisions.

I hope they announce it tomorrow. I’ve been on pins and needles, and I don’t know if I can stand waiting until next Thursday. What’s the holdup with announcing it? I can’t stand the drama!

Fingers crossed that they will not only strike the mandate but they will uphold the severability clause, throwing the entire heap of poo out the window.

Justice Skeletor wouldn’t be yapping about how sharply divided the Court was if they had voted to uphold. Then she would be saying that they were “united”. Haven’t said that, it doesn’t much matter because the repubicrats are already planning obabacare lite if it does gets struck down.
