Link to streaming live video feed on the contempt hearing on Holder and Fast and Furious.
"...Ya know, there's been a tendency on the part of this administration to, to try to hide behind executive privilege every time there's something, uhhhh, a little shaky that's taken place... and, ya know, I think the administration would be best served by coming clean on this, uhhhh, there, there doesn't seem to be any national security uhhh, issues involved with the US Attorney, uhhhh, uhhhh, question..."
BINGO
when I flipped back to CNN they were broadcasting a segment asking the question: Did Sarah Palin poison the well for all future women Pres candidates?
Cant make this stuff up.

Nor did CNN make up the Q...
The accusation came for the Romney campaign...
They had been asked about whether there might a woman VP..
The Romney camp was saying why there would not be one on the GOP ticket...
Seems like so long ago:

My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government.
Government should be transparent. Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing. Information maintained by the Federal Government is a national asset. My Administration will take appropriate action, consistent with law and policy, to disclose information rapidly in forms that the public can readily find and use. Executive departments and agencies should harness new technologies to put information about their operations and decisions online and readily available to the public. Executive departments and agencies should also solicit public feedback to identify information of greatest use to the public.
Yep! :-)
Thank you for posting that, I was thinking about it earlier.
Now, question... will Dems on committee refuse to come to committee room to vote after floor votes done, a la the Wisconsin rats?
Really!!!??? Missed that part. Thanks for the context. I can’t even come up with an appropriate comment; my eyes just roll into the back of my head.
I was just thinking of that too..can they refuse to show up??
I know they don’t give a damn but won’t that look worse if they run from the vote?
Holder retracts claim Bush team knew about Fast and Furious
Wednesday, June 20, 2012Holder just keeps dancing. He needs to go. America deserves better. Liar in DOJ exposes himself by changing testimony. The Justice Department has retracted a second statement made to the Senate Judiciary Committee. During a hearing last week, Attorney General Eric Holder claimed that his predecessor, then-Attorney General Michael Mukasey, had been briefed about gunwalking in Operation Wide Receiver.
Yup, and I almost hope they do something supremely stupid like that; just to see how far the MSM will go, burrowing their heads up the arses of the Zero admin officials, to protect them from more public outrage.
Can’t have a non-’pesthood’ holder as VP, it would ruin the prophecy...
;)
Gah!
Gaveled back in...
“Yeah, and those of us amongst the unwashed masses are tired of that excuse. No one cares and no one believes it.
They really need to find another excuse.”
They are long past the time that the 2nd letter should have been tendered, read, and acted upon.
Letter 1....Blame your predecesor
Letter 2.....Resignation.
Yeah, well, Holder will resign and that will be the end of it. Then the RINOs will vote to confirm another Holder.
its Bushs fault !!!
