I wonder how they'll feel when it's their kids who won't be able to find jobs once these "newly minted citizens" start bringing their relatives over that are still in mexico?

It's all great to be compassionate when it doesn't effect you, but poverty tends to have a "trickle up" effect. Depress the living standards in one sector of the economy and it works its way across the economy. Kind of like a falling tide dropping all boats.

I hope I'm making sense but this story just bugs me on so many levels.

That is why some democrats are not showing up at the dem convention and a dem congressman said Obama is just wrong on this subject.....their internal polls are showing just how popular this idea was.

When you get polls like this you need to know who they polled...the Hispanic community, collage professors, the democrat national convention goers or New Yorkers. This poll means nothing without the very detailed demographics.
