Pentagon plans to hold Gay Pride month event By Jeremy Herb - 06/14/12 05:17 PM ET
The Pentagon is planning to hold an event celebrating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride month.
The move comes less than a year after the Defense Department’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy toward gay and lesbian service members was repealed.
Pentagon spokeswoman Eileen Lainez said the Pentagon is planning its first event for LGBT Pride month, which will be held later in June. Details about the event had yet to be finalized, she said.
The event for Pentagon employees comes after the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, the 1990s policy wherein gay service members could be kicked out of the military if they disclosed their sexual identity, was repealed last year.
The repeal, passed by Congress in the 2010 lame-duck session, has been implemented thus far with few reported issues from the U.S. military.
The repeal of DADT was one of President Obama’s biggest policy victories for the gay-rights community.
Obama issued a presidential proclamation at the start of the month declaring June LGBT Pride month, where he talked about the repeal of DADT.
"Because we repealed ‘Don't ask, don't tell,’ gay, lesbian, and bisexual Americans can serve their country openly, honestly, and without fear of losing their jobs because of whom they love," Obama wrote.
This is getting ridiculous. As well as disgusting. Homosexuals might want to practice what they want, but why do we have to be made so aware of it?
No wonder our kids today are so focused on sex. It is all they hear and see. We have constant concentration on sex...heterosexual or homosexual activities.
It saddens me to no end that the military with whom I spent more than half my life has turned into a social petri dish. My God, liberals make me puke. They toxify everything they touch.
Ditto. When I retired in 2004, I promised that I'd talk up the Air Force in particular and the military in general to young people as an options for their lives. Since the destructive homoerotic lifestyle got an official endorsement, and forevermore until the day I die, I will never recommend it to anyone again.

I pray for them too-—but this is intentional to push Christians out of the military.
They (Zero and the Marxists) want no Virtue in the military now-—to destroy it from within. Zero hates the Judeo/Christian God and wants to remove the paradigm which reigned in this country for hundreds of years—to totally transform us into a pagan/Satanic/occult-—much like the SA Nazis who were all homosexuals.

What would George Washington say——they are literally kicking out God and Virtue from our military.
It is unconstitutional since Just Law-—Rule of Law—is the basis of our Legal system.....It ALWAYS has to promote Virtue. Sodomy is a Vice—always was and always will be.
Right now, former SecDef Donald Rumsfeld is being interviewed on Greta Von Susteren’s show. Now THAT’s a man who would’ve fought tooth and nail against institutionalized perversion of the Armed Forces.
Importantly, some individual will take notes, and when in the future homosexuality is again banned in the military, those individuals involved in this fiasco will be discharged.
The US military is heading for a major Reduction In Force, so why not eliminate the “defective units” first?

It’s my position government at every level in today’s America has been corrupted and infiltrated by extremely controlling individuals, who’s motive is to control every single thing you do in your private life and in business, buy means of taxes, fines, regulations and threats.
The Fruitcake Front has succeeded to the point that I can’t blame any decent person who doesn’t enlist or who resigns. Who wants to risk life and limb to help make the world safe for degeneracy?

You are 100% correct. They will only report what suits their agenda.
Why? Why is homosexuality considered normal? Why is homosexuality forced upon the population in the media?
Soon (me thinks it has already happened), heterosexual’s will become targets of intentional abuse (no rainbow sticker will facilitate police brutality).
Come on, Congress. Pass laws preventing this government waste, immorality and abuse. Or at least pass a law recognizing the contributions of White, Hetersexual Males to America.

I sat in the forced reeducation training with the repeal of DADT. In fact because I my job I had to attend two sessions. We were specifically assured the DOD would not create a new special class and there would be no gay pride events because the military was sensitive to the 98% who are not gay and because it would promote a specific life style because being someones butt buddies is not a “cultural” thing but a sexual act. Did not take long to expose the lie did it.
Where’s the barf alert?

There needs to a major Reduction In Farce in government for the Reduction In Force of defective units.
