Pentagon plans to hold Gay Pride month event By Jeremy Herb - 06/14/12 05:17 PM ET
The Pentagon is planning to hold an event celebrating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride month.
The move comes less than a year after the Defense Department’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy toward gay and lesbian service members was repealed.
Pentagon spokeswoman Eileen Lainez said the Pentagon is planning its first event for LGBT Pride month, which will be held later in June. Details about the event had yet to be finalized, she said.
The event for Pentagon employees comes after the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, the 1990s policy wherein gay service members could be kicked out of the military if they disclosed their sexual identity, was repealed last year.
The repeal, passed by Congress in the 2010 lame-duck session, has been implemented thus far with few reported issues from the U.S. military.
The repeal of DADT was one of President Obama’s biggest policy victories for the gay-rights community.
Obama issued a presidential proclamation at the start of the month declaring June LGBT Pride month, where he talked about the repeal of DADT.
"Because we repealed ‘Don't ask, don't tell,’ gay, lesbian, and bisexual Americans can serve their country openly, honestly, and without fear of losing their jobs because of whom they love," Obama wrote.
According to the latest polls 76% of Americans self-identify as Christians.
Wonder when we will see a Christ-exalting month at the Pentagon.

True. But Natural Law Theory was absorbed completely by St. Thomas Aquinas, The Father of Catholic Theology. He knew “Faith and Reason” could not be in conflict since God designed all of nature. There are teleological ends to all of nature.
Most atheists (and particularly Marx) reject “Natural Laws”. Atheists—because they reject the “Lawgiver”—they reject the Laws of Nature. You can’t believe in Laws if there is no Lawmaker as Nietzsche so brilliantly stated with his statement of the current worldview in Germany in the late 1800’s: God is Dead!
Atheists/Marxists erroneously believe that Natural Law is Christianity since Catholic Theology and it’s cannon affected all Christian thinking in a profound way.
So correct!!!! Culture was destroyed from the top down intentionally by a few elite-— with the force of law and Marxist/Atheist Foundations like Rockefeller/Ford/Carnegie who poured millions of dollars into universities, “churches” publishing companies (The Beats, Kinsey, Hefner) and movie producers (Deep Throat) and judges (forcing the absurd concept of homosexual “marriage” as if that can be rational) to allow obscenity and vulgar “art” to destroy excellence and the “raising of man” to higher than a base animal nature.
This tearing down and ruining the concept of “Just Law”—Rule of Law was started by the Legal Positivists. They removed morality from Law-—when “Justice” is a Virtue and all law (to be Just) has to promote Virtue in man.
Art should always elevate man to the higher and better—to be fully “rational” man with a spiritual/moral element.
Obscenity was never a part of protected speech—ever in a Rational government-— and anything which encourages reducing man to a base animal of urges, with no use of the intellect and morality—is obscene. That which makes us human beings is Reason. Just acting on urges which destroy all human long term relationships is irrational and deadly to children and the future.
Right on! But so are the J.C. Penny ads with pandering to perverted lifestyles. I may have to eventually make my own clothes and grow my own food but I won’t patronize any business that panders to perverts. That’s how we got to thid sad state of affairs, tolerance of evil.

The key phrase there is: ‘few REPORTED issues’ from the military. We must remember that if it isn’t reported, it didn’t happen/doesn’t exist.

Once Romans 1:20 is breached, the fall of the offending social collective is as predictable as the acceleration of a body that jumps off a cliff.
And people say that there’s no room for any more cuts in the defense budget. Obviously that isn’t true.

They would also have a quandary when a unit doesn’t have enough gays to meet the quotas. Would a leader have to order some men to be gay to meet the numbers?
But dare not lift up the name of Jesus Christ or pray in His name at any military function.
We are living in the days where good is called evil and evil is called good.
