Scale of one to ten, I give it a 6.5.

Who shot J.R.?
Should have killed him off so the show could die.

I didn’t watch the ‘old’ Dallas, so there was no reason for me to watch this one........or was it just a dream?..............

I liked it but they could have leased a real drilling rig instead of that laughable water well drilling truck. It really was pretty lame. Being from Texas I can see that I'll be rooting for the villain. You know they are going to trash big oil at every chance. Also how believable is it that one would be faced with billions of dollars in profit and decide to forgo it because of a promise made to dearly departed ‘Miss Ellie”.

“Embarrassed” to say, I DID! Just checking out the way-back machine and it sure made me smile - all the old characters and all the old backstabbing :) Better than I thought it would be and lots of twists in the first episode. JR, Bobby and Sue Ellen- that was good. And did you see, was it Lucy?
It was sorta fun.

Didn’t see it, nor hear anything really about it, but let me just GUESS what the plot is!?
JR is running a fracking operation and intentionally poisoning the water supply.
Cliff goes to Bobby and together they fight JR to save the community from the typical evil Texas oilman.
The evil oilman also treats women badly, and the good oilman would rather ride his horse and appreciate the clean air than make money.
Did I get it right?

I enjoyed it. Wasn’t the best, but once JR got more on-screen time it got better. I’m going to keep on watching. They did do a good job of contrasting Bobby and JR, more so from what I remember of the original show. JR’s infamous scowl though was priceless. Cliff Barnes shows up next week so curious to see how that goes.

It was okay. 4.5 on a scale of 1 - 10. Some of the acting wasn’t very good.
The fellow who played John Ross should buy an acting lesson, not that there’s much hope of improvement.
To improve the series, John Ross should get into a very serious, fiery car accident that burns his face badly. The character should spend a couple of episodes in the hospital with his face completely obscured by bandages. Once all the plastic surgeons are done with him, they can take off the bandages, and when revealed, John Ross will look nothing like he did before the accident, as a new actor will be playing John Ross from that point on. One that can act.

While I am working to drown out... the image of J.R. in a towel, about Dallas, I can only say that I am glad it is 56 miles north of me--
Admit it, Bendy-- Even here in Spain... we know you love that kind of all out Texas drinkin' & whorin' kind'a action.
Well, when you put it that way... how can I object?
