SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. —
WFTV has learned that George Zimmerman’s wife, Shellie Zimmerman, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with perjury.
Earlier Tuesday, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by investigators with the Office of State Attorney Angela Corey, who advised a warrant had been issued for the 25-year-old.

Not only this is nothing more than appeasing racists like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, New Black Panthers, etc...this trial comes out the pockets of Seminole County tax payers...and including the speical security and arrangements for Zimmerman and all involved in the persecution. We are paying for this lynching..which our local LEOs and prosecutors rightfully determined there was no case
Absolutely disgusting that they can do this to that family. Where is the conservative media to support these people. You know for a fact all the leftist media will be cheering this on. I’m sure the next shoe to fall will be a federal prosecution backed by Holder.
Your reasoning seems realistic. On the otherhand it could quite simply be the state crushing both Zimmerman and his wife; thus teaching all of us not to resist black assaults unless we wish to be put through legal hell.

They are putting the squeeze on George Zimmerman by jailing his wife IMHO.
I believe they know they will never get a 2nd degree or even manslaughter conviction, so now they are going to look for as best a plea bargain as they can get...and it will be at the price of his wife’s freedom and his own record.
This woman prosecutor should not even be on the case, she is conflicted...and the Feds are all for whatever leverage she will use to get “satsifaction” for the lynch mob mentality they have created.
I pray Zimmerman’s lawyers and other notable people will stand up for this family that, IMHO, is being absolutely railroaded.
They need to get a white face on TV to re-boot the Race War. Despicable bastards. All this over a silly PayPal misunderstanding that amounts to NOTHING. This isn’t his shopping cash...it is his defense fund money. If he had included it, would the judge have made the bail HIGHER? No? So why all the judicial drama? Because the “Justice for Trayvon” train ran off the rails and Angela Corey and the P.C. mafia are desperate to get it back on track, including this insane judge. Rick Scott started this, and needs to finish it by firing Corey.
I think you’re right about the lesser charges.
I thought I read that both Zimmerman and his wife said that the brother-in-law was responsible for the Web site and Corey made NO effort to seek his testimony. None. And now they are being charged because they didn’t know how much had been collected by the Web site. It’s straight out of Kafka.
This situation is a miscarriage of justice.
