Jeb Bush Says Mitt Romney Should Pick Marco Rubio
ABC News ^ | June 8, 2012 | Shushannah Walshe

Posted on 06/11/2012 3:55:26 AM PDT by pistolpackinpapa

Jeb Bush gave an impassioned endorsement of fellow Floridian Marco Rubio, advising Mitt Romney to pick him as his running mate and describing him as “the most articulate conservative elected official on the scene today,” and even spoke of the “great pride” he has for the U.S. senator from his home state.

“Marco Rubio is my favorite [choice], because we have a close relationship,” the former Florida governor told Charlie Rose in an interview that aired on his PBS show Thursday evening. “I admire him greatly … He speaks with great passion about American exceptionalism. I think he would lift the spirits of the campaign and provide some energy. Governor Romney is running a very good campaign right now and closed the gap and leading in some polls, but I think this would be an added bonus.”

In the wide ranging hour long interview that aired in parts Thursday morning on CBS’ “This Morning” and then in its entirety Thursday evening on PBS, Bush said Rubio has had enough preparation to be “one heartbeat away from the presidency” despite being a first term senator.

“Look he has more experience than Barack Obama had when he ran,” Bush said. “And the practical experience — he’s certainly got the intelligent acumen and fortitude to be a good president and I have a special place in my heart for him. It’s hard to describe the pride I have for his incredible success and how he has moved in to the job of being a U.S. senator with humility, not trying to be an arrogant guy, to learn the trade if you will. And people in Washington really admire him.”

Clintons => Fabian socialists, Marxist by evolution, boiling the frog

0bama/Alinsky/Ayers/Dorhn => “Gueveran” Socialists, Marxism by Revolution.

The Fabians will work towards their utopia slowly and we will most of us never notice when we get there. The Obama rabble want their utopia now! and are perfectly willing to shoot any and all who would say “NO” and they are certain they can do this within the next four years.
Most socialists in the US are of the Fabian variety, they want the same utopia as the revolution variety. The Fabians will stand on the sidelines and cheer them on. Now take a good look at Romney.... yep Fabian type.

I saw a discussion on whether Rubio would have to “resign” if Willard chose him for VP...

Is thewe some doctrine that says there cant be TWO Mormons on the top of the ticket ???

There also was a discussion on whether it is just the family of Rubio who are Mormon or also Rubio himself...

apparantly its the Mormon angle that might be naking him attractive to Willard as a VP pick...

What I don’t understand is why conservatives put all their energy into dissing other conservatives who don’t meet their standard.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
That’s why Mitt Romney is the GOP nominee. Same reason McCain was the GOP nominee. The Conservative wing of the party has a gazillion candidates in the Primary. They destroy each other irreparably. The Moderate, walks in to the Coronation. We have met the enemy and he is .......... us.

I was going to reply, but since you told me not to bother, I won’t except to say . . .

What has Sean Penn learned by going to Cuba?

Or Michael Moore ? Oh yeah I forgot, Cuba banned his film Sicko.

Sicko was banned because . . . . .

“when the film was shown to a group of Cuban doctors, some became so “disturbed at the blatant misrepresentation of healthcare in Cuba that they left the room”.

Castro’s government apparently went on to ban the film because, the leaked cable claims, it “knows the film is a myth and does not want to risk a popular backlash by showing to Cubans facilities that are clearly not available to the vast majority of them.”…

“Your point again??”

Are you dense???? Provided info that there are 3 Presidents in the Bush family tree to the original poster that thought there was only the more recent 2. There is no point beyond that.

You still don’t make a point dummy. So what a president’s mother is a distant relative to him? Hell, I probably am also.. if it really matters..

My sincerest apologies to you.

I was having my usual off-day anger/tantrum. I was born in the Canal Zone and have lived here (Panama) almost my entire life minus about 4 or 5 years off and on. I am a U.S. citizen but can’t connect with 300 million plus people who have led my country into the gutter due to lack of spine. My country is nothing more than one huge chicken coop…Period.

Getting back to Cuba…Cuba is extremely interesting. The everyday folks on the streets are wonderful. But then, many years ago, culturally speaking, Cuba and Panama had close ties, which I found to continue to be true when I visited…and I am not talking political ties.

I did stay at a first class hotel. I would have never stayed in anything less. The rest of several days were spent sightseeing in Havana. I also stopped off at one of Hemmingway’s favorite watering holes. (delicious drinks)

If any of you folks decide to have a great learning experience, you need to fly to another country; and from there, take another aircraft to Cuba. Cuba does not stamp passports going and coming.

Getting back to what has Sean Penn learned by going to Cuba?

Nothing.

P.S.

My great regret is that I did not stop off and walk around the U. of Havana. I went up the steps but did not proceed much further. There were just too many other things to see in just a short time.

I have wanted to return again, but then they switched over the Euro.

“Jeb Bush Says Mitt Romney Should Pick Marco Rubio”

I say Jeb Bush needs to sit there and pick his nose... whether it is his nose, Rubio’s, or both.

Sure apology gladly accepted. We have posted to each other about Elian Gonzalez before and his mango tree lawyer -lol.

Being an immmigrant who came by himself to America at same age as Elian, I was so ashamed of this country for the way it sacrificed this boy whose mother lost her life to give him freedom.

I guess you got my point about Sean Penn and the rest. One doesn’t have to go to Cuba to understand communism and its evils. And some who go never learn. I’m sure the people are wonderful as you say. Most folks are. Am glad you have good memories of your time there. Thanks again for writing back.

You can now revert to your usual off/day anger/tantrum - lol

P.S. Interesting that you have lived mostly in Panama. My stepdad was stationed there and loved it. I’ve lived over half my life in Hawaii. Similar climate, but we have better chicken coops. What do you think this country of 300 million should do about Panama?
