The liberal media are finally looking into the birth certificate issue — Mitt Romney’s, that is.

Reuters extensively investigated the presumptive Republican nominee’s background, and concluded that he was born on U.S. soil and qualifies as a “natural born citizen.” This follows the press corps’ relentless examination of Mr. Romney’s past: his record at Bain Capital, his tenure as Massachusetts governor, his Mormon faith and the church he attended, his views on race as a younger man, his marriage to Ann, his treatment of the family dog and even an alleged bullying incident as a high school student nearly 50 years ago. When it comes to Mr. Romney, nothing is off limits for our media elites.

But, that would be nothing compared to the way I’d feel about Romney picking Jindal or Rubio for VP, who as far as I know, clearly don’t meet NBC status. They’re good men, but it would queer the NBC issue forever if they were chosen.

They call us “birthers” — extremist kooks, who supposedly wallow in conspiracy theories, simply because that is how Saul Alinsky trained them. They are using ridicule to silence us and others who otherwise would cover this.

The “I am not a birther but” crowd are victims of this tactic. Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, AZ Atty General Bennett, Glen Beck, and countless GOP congressman and senators have all fallen victim to the Alinsky ridicule tactic.

It is time to be immune to ridicule in pursuit of the truth.

Unfortunately, it's looking to me like the GOP establishment collectively decided to overlook Obama's ineligibility in order to establish a precedent to run Jindal, Rubio, or Haley should the opportunity arise. I believe this fully explains their weird nonchalance about the issue and the ruthless suppression of those on the right who seek to raise questions about it.

I am a Birther and I think of it as being rational. It is irrational to NOT be a Birther——with all the proof and obfuscation with millions of dollars spend by zero to hide all his records and silence people.

Political Correctness was an invention of Mao. It is used to destroy freedom of speech-—much like the “Birther” issue—humiliation forced onto rational people because they stand up for the Truth and Rule of Law.

I have spoken with Liberals in MA who believe that Obama has been thoroughly vetted. Thoroughly. Perhaps no president has been so investigated -- (it's because he's black, you know). Well, after relentless study, Obama has been found to be clean as a whistle ... and so now it's Mitt's turn (it's only fair, you know).

Anti-Obama people must not allow the evidence against Obama being an NBC to be drowned and subverted legally and politically by offering up Rubio or Jindal as eligible for POTUSA when it is known there is questionable eligibility. Upholding the intent of the Founders Constitution is much more of importance than letting Obama off the hook by the expediency of selecting even very good people.

That's pretty much the only way, short of the GOP nominee getting caught with a dead hooker or a live boy, to make me go third party or write-in.
