VOTE 2012 - Are you registered to vote?

14% of Americans think they are registered to vote, but they're not! That's roughly 33 MILLION people! Use the voter look up tool and make sure you are registered to vote.

“How evil does a candidate in a general need to get before being passed up even if the least bad viable choice... and why”

Good question

My list;

Supports gun control
supports special homosexual rights
supports abortion
supports government controlled health care
supports cap and trade/global warming
..... and on an on you get the idea?

One or more of these is good enough for me on the evil scale. Romney has “in fact” checked them all off at one time or another no matter what lies he is telling today.

I am old enough where any jerking my knees do is due to arthritis.

As to what the republicans put up for the primaries? You got me. I am not a republican partially because they have no principle as a party and have done nothing but run big spending big government trash since Reagan. If it was up to the republican party alone the Wisconsin outcome would have been different.. The tea party saved their day and thats no jerking opinion thats fact....

You will get mush answers for at least one of these (especially with your “and on and on”) out of virtually anybody but Jesus Christ.

Methinks out of your obsession about not “jerking a knee” in one direction, you jerk it oppositely, resulting in about equal irrelevance.

Possibly you would have to send a death certificate somewhere.

A problem of old data, not “pure BS.”

I would vote for Jesus at least he respects the individual apart from the state.

You never grokked that “the government shall be upon His shoulders” but not by any human ballot!

Duh, something then is rotten in the state of Denver (as Archie Bunker would put it). But it would be wise to check to be sure you haven’t been bumped inadvertently....

I verify with the state website instead. I always take the day off from work to vote just in case the lines are long.

Massachusetts has a law which states that if you fail to complete the state census form that's mailed to all households periodically they can remove you from the voter rolls.I want Massachusetts political hacks to know as little about me as possible so those census forms go right into the round file. But,as of Nov 2010,at least,I was still on the rolls.

“Well, the real question is how many people don’t think that they’re registered to vote, but really are... by someone who isn’t them?”

You’re right. I was curious about that so I checked to see if my mom is registered in WV - where she lived until almost 9 years ago. The SOS site lists her status as active, although she has lived in Georgia for 8 years now, has voted in 2 presidential elections since being here, and hasn’t even been back to WV except to attend her brother’s funeral several years ago.
