A recently discovered video shows Elizabeth Warren telling another tall tale about her family. The day after she announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate, Democrat Elizabeth Warren told the convocation at the University of Massachusetts-Boston: "My grandmother drove a wagon in the land rush to settle territory out west. It was 1889, she was 15 years old…She lived to be 94, to see her youngest grandchild--that's me--graduate from college…". The only problem with this story is that it’s not true.

Warren's maternal grandmother died in 1969, the year before Warren graduated from college, and her paternal grandmother was only 2 years old in 1889.

The details:

The hardest part for pathological liars is keeping their lies straight! If she had gone near a church or taken a secular course in ethics and morals, she would have learned the main pitfall of lying .... keeping them all straight.

What would we do without the people at Breitbart.com? They sure are honoring his name and vetting the Liberal politician and all their lies. Warren should hang her head in shame. Bet she is stocking up on the Valium now. How can she face her children let alone her friends and the voters? How much more will be revealed?

The earlier story out today reported that Warren said her parents had to elope because her mother had "Indian Blood" and her father's parents objected to them getting married. That is what she said she and her brother were told. The truth is that her mother was probably pregnant (in those days, it was shameful and often covered up)...so they ran off and got "hitched." Now, who cares...but then I suspect the story is actually what she was told. Long line of liars in that family, probably.

The word “psychopath” is probably being whispered in dark corridors.

Absurd characterization. She's a high functioning sociopath.

Your reply reminded me of what I heard an announcer say tonight about the Cardinals, Mets game. The Mets pitcher pitched a no hitter against the Cardinals, the first ever for a Mets pitcher in the Mets 50 year history.

The announcer said, there are 27,000 in attendance tonight, 25 years from now, 5,000,000 people will claim that they were there.

Sorta like the 50,000,000 or so who claim to have been at Woodstock.

Well, I’ve been screwed by a change in the definition of a no hitter since I went to the White Sox - Yankees Game in 1990 where the Sox won 4-0 without getting a hit.

Wow. Descended from BOTH white settlers of the west AND from American Indians. Quite impressive. I vote that she play Cowboys and Indians with herself and do herself in with both a gun and a bow & arrow and do everyone a favor.

This is like Hillary’s being named for the mountain climber and Algore being sung the “union label” song in the crib.

Being Democrats, however, one still became FLOTUS, Senator, and Secretary of State, the other VPOTUS and Nobel Prize Winner. I hope less is in store for Warren.

If she was running in any other state, I would assume she would lose, but this is Massachusetts after all. This has to be the oddest political story of the year.

From:

http://www.write101.com/kemosabe.htm

........................................................
===snip===
Jim Jewell, who directed “The Lone Ranger” until 1938 said he’d lifted the term from the name of a boys’ camp at Mullet Lake just south of Mackinac, Michigan called Kamp Kee-Mo Sah-Bee. The camp had been established in 1911 by Jewell’s father-in-law, Charles Yeager, and operated until about 1940. Translation of kee-mo sah-bee, according to Jewell was “trusty scout.”

A scholar from the University of California at Berkley thought that Kemo Sabe came from the Yavapai, a dialect spoken in Arizona and meant “one who is white,” since the Ranger always wore a white shirt and trousers in the earliest publicity photos. The Yavapai term is “kinmasaba” or “kinmasabeh.”

===snip===

An interesting side light comes from the son of Fran Striker, “It is usually assumed that Kemo Sabe is how the Ranger refers to Tonto. However, in many of the early radio broadcasts, the Ranger calls Tonto “Kemo Sabe” AND Tonto also calls the Ranger “Kemo Sabe.”

Humorous Suggestions

Another suggestion has been that Tonto, (whose name means “stupid” according to some interpretations) responded by calling the Lone Ranger “qui no sabe” which roughly translates from Spanish as “he who knows nothing” or “clueless.”

One of Gary Larson’s Far Side cartoons shows the Lone Ranger looking in an Indian dictionary and discovering that kemosabe is “an Apache expression for a horse’s rear end.
