Heh ...
I bet these guys would LOVE to get an offer from Bain Capitol.
All working per Obama’s plan, not to implement the commercial real estate market bailout.......
I did not notice the Solybdra logo closely until watching Mitt Romney speaking in front of it yesterday.
And then compared it to First Solar’s logo, another big loser backed by Obama.
In both the “O” is emphasized, above anything else.
Sickening, isn’t it?.
I’ll offer $50.00 bucks and make a man cave out of it. That’s far more than they ever made.
What the heck, no wind or solar power? They were actually plugged into that old grid that feeds off nuke and coal power? That’s probably what did them in. Karma, and a bad business model.
LOL!
I refer to the Volt as GM’s coal-powered vehicle.
We will need massive amounts of coal and oil to get to the future, when that future which will be powered by natural gas and small scalable, linked nuclear plants(picture six or eight small scale thorium nuclear plants linked together in parallel, rather than one huge plant).
Video and text of Romney visit....FR Vthread:
Mitt Romney Visits Solyndra Amid Attack on Obama Jobs Record ( Video )
Romney should talk to a few buddies over at Exxon Mobile and have them buy the building.
Now that would send the left over the edge.
I’ll see your $50 and raise a Hundai.
My plan for the site is more practical. Board up the windows, install 20’ fences with razor wire along the top, and turn it into a Federal Prison for Obama, Holder, Pelosi, etc.
Solyndra should remain shuttered and overgrown with weeds and Romney can even come on and say, "No venture capitalist would ever consider taking over these companies. That is how bad an investment they were."
"And no venture capitalist would have ever taken over a bankrupt General Motors and started making an electric hybrid that no one wants."
Your description of what the Solyndra plant should look like sounds like the failed ‘Twentieth Century Motor Company’ in Atlas Shrugged.
The GOP should put this Solyndra fiasco in perspective, make it personal. I’d argue that in as much as we don’t feel (take on the loss individually) of our Gov’t wasting our money, it is too easily ignored. So perhaps the question the narrator should be saying over a picture of Solyndra is: “Imagine all the taxes you pay in your lifetime not even putting a small percentage dent into just 1 bad Obama decision? Now imagine your Children, and your Grandchildren coming to that same realization. This has to stop with one failed Presidency.”
That name and logo would have been removed from the Solyndra building a long time ago.
I bet they are going around all of the other failed “green stimulus” buildings removing photo ops for Mitts...:^)
It has a Class 100,000 clean room? That’s the dirtiest classification. It’s the maximum number of contaminate particles allowed per cubic foot of air space.
I’m stunned that they would try to build solar panels in a facility that dirty.
Oh wait... They weren’t really there to accomplish any actual business with quality products and profits and all, were they.
Not bad but I’d prefer a tomb for Obama, Holder, Pelosi, etc.
