I live not too far from Ft. Rucker just across the Florida line. I often see the helicopters flying around.
I can remember when the really old people around here called it “Camp Rooker”. I haven’t heard that in a long time.

Thank you so much. Spent January 67 thru April 67, doing my AIT traing. Thus came out with a MOS of 67N20. Lots of Memories wife and I lived in the little town of Newton , Alabama about 12 miles South of Dale Entrance. We were from California and it was Oh so cold. ZERO DEFECTS was base motto.
He was an Air Traffic Controller. It was great to be on the Flight line and have the Huey's or Cobras come in.

Kiddos have been here this last week and through this weekend,
and we are having a blast!
