MESSAGE FROM CINDY-TRUE-SUPPORTER:
"Yesterday I (Cindy_True_Supporter) and the mother of a wounded warrior that I met before the closing of Walter Reed- DC had the opportunity to have lunch with Cliff, the evening manager of the Mologne House at WRAMC. He conveyed to me how important our group was outside of Walter Reed with supportive signs of our wounded troops. He stressed that our presence was of tremendous importance in their recovery and in trying to deal with depression and self worth. Our appearance at the gate and on the corners in front of the hospital was something they could count on every Friday evening. They were so amazed that people would care enough to come out over a period of years in any weather condition without an agenda other than supporting our military. So many VIPs went into Walter Reed for a photo op and a pat on their own backs for showing support of our military. Cliff repeatedly remarked on the many times he was told by the patients and their families how much we were appreciated, and that we would probably never know how much good our efforts had on the recovery process of the wounded."
"He asked if our group still got together so I could extend a big THANK YOU on his behalf for Mologne House staff. Since we rarely see each other on a regular basis any more, Im writing this message to tell all of our group of patriots who came out to WRAMC - YOU WERE SO IMPORTANT IN THE HEALING OF OUR MILITARY!"
I still laugh thinking of the video clip of kristinn sitting in a lawn chair smoking a cigarette blocking that bus. Just so funny.
Yes, that was a funny sight!
Is this the link in my post that you had deleted? It works okay for me and a friend who tested it for me.

I am very pleased you went. I did not happen to see any notice of it being done this year.
Here in Florida their calendar said “lady named Joyce will be in today with treats...we hope”. The last person in charge left the note for the new one!...wasn’t that nice? A Thank You card was already written and attached to the back of the calendar!
I am so glad I did not let them down...it would have been so easy to stay in bed! LOL!
It goes to a commercial site.
iconadserver.com and when you try to go “back” it throws you off the net completely...tell me we did not get a virus or something!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check this out before anyone else “gets” it.
Do you have a favorite night at WR?
How about the night you nearly fell from the big pole you climbed...”we got up close and personal”!
I remember you getting to Arlington, but did you get to Walter Reed event. We are collecting best memories and mine is failing!
Linda took me when I could not drive and Sam went with me one week. He was very impressed with the troops who came out to say Thank You for being there.
Have you seen this thread?
We are collecting the best memories of Friday Nights at Walter Reed. What was yours?
It goes to a nice video of Freepers at Walter Reed during a rain for me. QubeTV has lots of videos. I Freepmailed it to a friend and it worked okay.
I don’t know what the problem could be.
Still going to another site for me, even the FRmail link. Lets see if there are any others who have a problem. If they do we will have to delete it again. It would be a shame.
[Mr] T
Along with the men, women and families in the Walter Reed facility, I want to thank trooprally, Cindy-True-Supporter, and the many many other FReepers who stood faithfully every Friday in support of our wounded warriors and their families. As Cliff and many others said, your service to our military and our freedom was also invaluable!
Thank you, one and all!
Please see my post #72. (I forgot to include “All” in the To line!)
You are welcome from the DC Chapter and personally.
Yep, I remember you being there. We were glad to have “one timers” or a “few timers” make it to WR. You all help validate that “with you in spirit” really means it when you all take time out from coming so far and spending a Friday evening with us.
