The legacy of the 2008 campaign was the code of omerta enforced by the the legacy media about anything having to do with Obama’s past. Where was he born? Don’t care. What were his college years like? Can’t you move on to something important, like the time Mitt Romney ragged some hippie in high school? Why did Obama say that former Weatherman Bill Ayers was “just a guy in the neighborhood” when he was plainly an important political mentor, if not also the ghostwriter, for the future president?
There are a lot of questions to be asked about Barack Obama. Why are his college records sealed? Why can’t we see a certified copy of his birth certificate? Why are his medical records sealed? I’ve been told that his Social Security registration was issued by Connecticut, which would be odd, but cannot check because that too is sealed. Obama worked as a lawyer, but we don’t know who he worked for because his client list is sealed. Why is it that Michelle Obama can no longer practice as an attorney? We know the fact but not the reason.
General infatuation guaranteed that Obama got more or less a free pass from the legacy media. I suspect there will be much more curiosity as the summer progresses and we get into the campaign. He is no longer the pristine knight come to lower the oceans, fix the economy, and “fundamentally transform” the United States of America into a green paradise where everyone suckles happily at the federal mammary gland except the evil coal producers who are miserable bankrupts. No, I suspect that even The Washington Post, even The New York Times, will have to take a peek or two under the covers of the tale of this international man of mystery.

I remember hearing an interview with candidate Obama before he was a pResidential candidate. The discussion was about the Constitution. In this interview, he rambled on about fairness, equality, how it is a ‘living’ document, etc. but the one comment that stuck with me is his comment about the need to evolve it to a mandate for more “redistributive” equity.......
The author has a great deal more confidence in NYT and WaPo than I have. Both papers appear to have decided that they are dying, and that it's more profitable to become shills for the far left than to attempt to investigate or to present news honestly. Maintaining their credibility and professionalism would require investments that are not being made. Milking their residual reputation will allow them to have a disproportionate influence on those lacking in critical thinking skills, as their unmeasurable "good will" fades much more slowly than their integrity has.
During a NPR interview he specifically stated he rejects the Constitution because it limits the power of the Federal govt.
I heard that interview. I believe he called the Constitution “imperfect” in that it limits what government can do (as he’s clearly demonstrated his lack of respect for it during his entire term).
This ingrate is a disgusting POS, and America will have a tough time erasing what he’s done and removing the stain he’s imprinted on its fabric.

I swear, I’m gonna “Arab Street” my celebration. I’m gonna ululate as loud as I can. I even have a bunch of dog-training poppers that I’m gonna use for what’s called ‘celebratory fire’ ala the Arab Street. by listening to the RINO talking heads. Already there are discussions on FOX directed at
Romney and how he's not being "SWEET" (my word) enough.

My 2 cents here, I think the major media outlets were bought off.
They were in dinosaur territory and have continued to lose consumers ever since, but very few have laid off any of their people.

This may be a tinfoil hat thing here, but I think the media was told to fall in line and their financial worries would go away. The media is a bunch of leftys, but it didn’t make sense that they would outright campaign for an avowed marxist.

The secrets can come out ‘til the cows come home, but Americans couldn’t care less. Of course they matter to conservatives, but to the electorate as a whole, none of it resonates as to why it should matter.
Most voters care about whether they’re getting their piece of the pie. They comprehend little else.
I’ll definitely be celebrating a Obama loss however, it is my hope that I’ll be celebrating a Senate takeover and a Congress flush with new, conservative faces. While I absolutely agree that Obama is a POS and h done innumerable damage to this Country, he didn’t do it alone; the cabal on both sides have transformed this Country into a semblance of what it once was.
