David Axelrod privately calls Barack Obama “Black Jesus,” according to Edward Klein’s fantastic new book, The Amateur (p. 59).
“[Barack Obama] is the living, breathing apotheosis of the American melting pot,” Klein quotes Axelrod as saying.
Axelrod, as we know, isn’t alone. According to Klein, Micah Tillman, lecturer in philosophy at the Catholic University of America, called Obama “the Platonic philosopher king we’ve been looking for the past 2,400 years.” And no less an authority than Oprah has called him “The One.”

I’m actually more inclined to say that he IS than not. He sure does act the part well anyway.
I believe axelrod was misquoted...he perobably said nobama is a “worthless sack”.
They did not shift hard Left, they were already there.
After Obama’s election he selected people for his administration that were as ideologically pure as himself.
He then started the march of the Czars. He appointed Czars unvetted by the Senate to head up vast portions of the government. He also ballooned the payroll of the Federal government far more than any previous president.
All of this in the mind of Obama and his administration has cemented socialism in to the fabric of the United States to the point that it can never be dislodged. They may be right.
With both houses of Congress in their hands for the first two years Obama was able to fill the regulatory bureaucracy with ideologs of the socialist bent to the point that they will near impossible to remove. There influence will felt in government for the next 30 years. The young heads full of mush that entered government under Obama will become grey beards with power in time and they will drive the final nails in the coffin of capitalism if they have their way.
If we are to win we must educate the youth and arm them with truth we will have to drive out the peddlers of lies that inhabit the halls of academia.

Most of you are not old enough to remember “Sweet Daddy Grace” a flamboyant colored preacher of long ago. He was as funny as this clown in the White House.
You are correct on all accounts...they went hard left out of the gates, but they also doubled down after the 2010 shellacking. They invented the Occupy movement, accelerated attacks on the wealthy, pushed for more taxes than they did in the previous years, and staked out additional far left positions. Not to mention unwillingness to do any meaningful cutting despite the public desire to do so. They were always radical leftists, they just put the foot on the accelerator instead of the the brake when they had a chance to take a different tact that likely have meant cruising to reelection.

The jury is still out about Obama as the AC. Our inclinations don't really matter (or if they do...tell me how).
Obama is the most evil person to ever ascend to the Presidency. And he isn't nearly as evil as he would like to be (lacks the power as yet).
Obama is certainly an AC...and the most powerful man in the world at present.
Don't evaluate his intellect in the way we do humans. His intellect must be measured in terms of evil. Where good is evil and evil is good. And up is down and down is up.
In terms of the mirror image of humanity and goodness and power...he is the mirror uppermost image.
Ergo, so far...he is the pinnacle of evil!
This takes me back to 1969. I was in a Broadcasting School, a rather new enrollee had appeared; she was a black lady/minister. One day she gave a “speech” - she had a picture of Jesus as black, and her whole concept was - what would you do if Jesus looked like this? She was a good person, pretty serious, I liked her. BUT - everything I had ever learned lead me to believe that Jesus went out of his way to NOT let us know what he LOOKED like - because he wanted us to concentrate on his MESSAGE.
One can't really blame Axelrod for believing that, given his frame of reference. After all, he ran the John Edwards campaign in 2004.
