Days before bonding out of a Florida jail, George Zimmerman wrote a two page letter to a supporter, which has now been released to the public.
Zimmerman believes, "this will all work out for me in the future...I have given my burden to the Lord and he has blessed me with tremendous patience!"
The two-page letter obtained by The Smoking Gun was written by Zimmerman in a response to a letter of support sent by an Ohio man who wanted to deposit money in his jail account.
Zimmerman explained that he was only allowed to accept funds from individuals on his approved list of visitors.
Zimmerman wrote:
"The best way to send your support is through prayer! If you insist on sending funds, the best way is through my website."
Zimmerman added that the site, therealgeorgezimmerman.com, accepts checks and credit card payments via PayPal.
Zimmerman continued writing:
"My attorney seems cautiously optimistic about me receiving bond tomorrow and I will put funds received through my website towards my bond."
The Ohio man who sent the letter to TSG said he wrote to offer support after hearing reports about bounties being purportedly offered to harm Zimmerman.
Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

Rest assured, GZ, we are praying for you.
Ever wonder why Obama, the media and the left are always on the wrong side?
” Unless he had Internet access in jail, how was he to know how much had been donated? “
Maybe his lawyer told him? Or a family member?
Amen!!
Justice in America? More like political expedience and convenience. This is the same dept of Justice (just us, not you) who let the Black Panthers run wild at polling places—not bothering with enforcing the law.
Sure, I believe in equal justice under the law. In the comic books, not here.
As someone who has bailed out a friend a few times, I can say that there’s very little money in jail to be spent on computer access. Twinkies yes, computers no. In fact, you’re lucky to get a pen to write with. Probably his lawyer told him about the donations.
Zimmerman obviously killed Saint Skittles so he could cash in at his website.
Thank God his Momma and his Baby Daddy were above trying to cash in on anything.
They just want just-us.
BFL
Even if this case makes it to trial, which it shouldn’t, it should be thrown out for lack of evidence, the Jesse Jackasses and Al Sharplesses of this country will not believe any of the exculpatory evidence presented, but will choose to believe that it’s all faked by the white man’s justice system.
What we will get is the Anti-OJ Trial................................
Prayers for Zimmerman... Thanks for posting this, marktwain.
I don't know if that's true or not.
Some of the people leaving comments have obviously been swayed by the outdated pictures of Trayvon Martin that the media has been using. One particular, obscenity-laden comment, indicates that the poster thinks that Martin was 11 years old when Zimmerman shot him.
Actually, no. I never expect anything from them except what advances their agenda.
So what if he was aware? The judge is suppose to determine if the nature of the charge warrant's denial of bail or weather the defendant is a flight risk. There is no way he has shone himself to be a flight risk and the circumstances haven't indicated that he is would commit another offense while awaiting trial. I'm no lawyer so I guess maybe I don't understand the process. Other than in the MSM this guy hasn't been convicted of anything.
Genesis Chapter 2. It's all there.
Where is Sharpton? Jackson? The rest of the black race baiting low lifes? There seems a silence now. Is it because he has a black in his history? Is it because they found out Trevon was not the innocent little boy the disgusting MSM portrayed on TV? Why so quiet haters?
Almost always, EVERY entity has a good side and a bad side. Things are Almost always a shade of gray.
Zero, media, and the left are the exception to "Almost" always.
He committed the “crime” of invoking God.
Had he revealed his devotion to LGBT, that would have earned him points.
