There is zero proof that Martin attacked Zimmerman. Plenty of evidence that Zimmerman followed Martin (his own words), that Martin ran away (zimmerman's words) and that Zimmerman was getting his ass kicked....but zero evidence that shows Martin attacked Zimmerman...ZERO.

You are fighting on the wrong hill, dude. Nothing has come out that contradicts Zimmerman's version of events - that Martin attacked him.

And your point is doubly absurd in that there is far more evidence that Martin attacked Zimmerman than your possibility that Zimmerman instigated a physical confrontation with Martin - and the state has to reach the threshhold of beyond a reasonable doubt against Zimmerman, when it can't even muster any evidence that I have seen to contradict Zimmerman's version - which an investigator has confirmed under oath. Zimmerman was well within his legal rights to follow a suspicious person without physically confronting them - unless you can point to any Florida statutes to the contrary.

Zimmerman's claims pass the Occam's razor test with flying colors. Your position doesn't even pass the smell test.

Well, since you are using "zimmerman's words", then you forgot some very important details:
Zimmerman broke off contact and was returning to his vehicle (Zimmerman's words).
Martin walked up and confronted Zimmerman (Zimmerman's words).
Martin sucker punched Zimmerman (Zimmerman's words).
During the course of the scuffle, Zimmerman screamed for help (witnesses, Zimmerman's words, 911 tapes).
During the course of the scuffle, Zimmerman did not immediately go for, brandish or display his weapon (lack of statements from EYE WITNESSES is proof that he did not already have out his weapon - therefore no intent to gun down can be proven).
During the course of the scuffle, Martin went for Zimmerman's gun (Zimmerman's words).
Second round did not chamber (physical evidence - which suggests that something stopped the next round from being chambered - less any testing which shows the weapon malfunctions often).
Lack of any abrasions, contusions or marks on Zimmerman's hands (pictures and medical reports).
Knuckle abrasions on Martin's hands and broken nose, abrasions, contusions and cuts to Zimmerman (pictures and medical reports).
All of these add up to support the statement from Zimmerman that Martin attacked him.

You use some of Zimmerman's words to support you THEORY, but conveniently fail to mention his words which supports the EVIDENCE!

What law did Zimmerman break when he exited his vehicle to follow? According to the police - NONE! So this has nothing, zilch, NADA to do with the physical altercation, so why even mention it? Let's keep on the subject of the physical altercation, because that is the ONLY thing that matters in this entire situation. The rest is simply not illegal for Zimmerman to have done - up to and including "profiling" - although I do not see where that can even be proven.

Report: Witness Says Trayvon Martin Attacked George Zimmerman

A new witness to the Trayvon Martin shooting has come forward, claiming the Florida teen did in fact attack neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, according to media reports.
Zimmerman has said he shot the 17-year-old in self-defense, though Martin was reportedly carrying only a bag of Skittles and an iced tea when he was killed. Despite a loud national outcry, Zimmerman has not been arrested or charged in Martin’s death.
According to Tampa Bay Fox affiliate WTVT-TV, what the witness says he saw could bolster Zimmerman’s claim that he shot Martin in self-defense:
“The guy on the bottom who had a red sweater on was yelling to me: ‘help, help…and I told him to stop and I was calling 911,” he said.
Trayvon Martin was in a hoodie; Zimmerman was in red.
The witness only wanted to be identified as “John,” and didn’t not want to be shown on camera.
His statements to police were instrumental, because police backed up Zimmerman’s claims, saying those screams on the 911 call are those of Zimmerman.
“When I got upstairs and looked down, the guy who was on top beating up the other guy, was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point,” John said.
On Friday night, Zimmerman attorney Craig Sonner appeared on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” and said he client sustained a broken nose and a head laceration on the night of the incident.
“His nose was broken, he sustained injury to his nose and on the back of his head he sustained a cut that was serious enough that probably should have had stitches…it was an injury that was done by Trayvon Martin,” Sonner said.

I really don't follow your "logic". Zimmerman getting his ass kicked...BY MARTIN = Martin attacking Zimmerman. It does not matter what was said between the two; verbal assault is not what is in question. Martin running away is not in question. The physical evidence proves that Martin physically assaulted Zimmerman. I don't know what else you want.

It's NOT a crime to follow another person.

The 911 operator was suggesting Zimmerman NOT follow - FOR HIS OWN SAFETY...

Zimmerman has the right to see where someone is going in his complex - so do I - so do you. It's a friggin' free country. If I wonder what someone is doing walking on a street, I have the right to watch them. Did you know that?

Newspapers can take pictures of people on the street without permission. Did you know that?

If Zimmerman had wanted to murder the kid- and get away with it, he would NOT have called the police. Think about it.
